They work great!
I was able to easily get both of these working with a Arduino Nano and they look great. I used this library which has a comprehensive API and supports both I2C and SPI. Search for "Adafruit_SSD1306".One thing that's potentially misleading is that the display is fully monochrome with the top part always yellow and the rest always blue. e.g. it's not a true two color display.

Great OLEDs
Top 16 rows are yellow, 1 row gap, followed by the remaining 106 rows in blue.

Great little set, works with adafruit library and is a nice little screen for tinkering projects
