Very nice system
I am very impressed with the renewed server and the seller. I had to open the case first thing to look over things and im glad I did because the raid card had come loose during transport. I would assume that the person cleaning it up to look brand new did not get the screws tight. No harm done, I put it in place secured it and turned it on. The drivers for the system were a bit complicated to locate but thats because of HP not the seller. This is a great buy because I am in school for networking and computers. I have zero complaints, the seller even placed a customer service number for me to reach for problems. THANK YOU so very much.

Impeccable customer service
Long Review. This is for the renewed Proliant DL360 gen 9 server. It was packed well when I got it and had two power cords in the box with it. I immediately plugged it in and started it. However the video out is VGA and as I don't have an adapter I could not tell if it could boot up. I bought an adapter from Best Buy but all that I could see on the monitor were two vertical bars of display and they were too narrow to tell much. The server does have a PCIE slot so then I went to Microcenter and bought an old Geforce 10xx card. Once the card was installed I had display but the machine would freeze on the HP screen. Thinking there was an issue with it booting I called support. The support number on the top of the server forwarded to a cell phone voice mailbox, which didn't give me a lot of hope. Less than two hours later I received a call back. The support person was fantastic. They spent a couple of hours on the phone with me troubleshooting the server. The issue was that the adapter I got from Best Buy was junk and the video card I got from Microcenter did not accurately display the server state. I spent around 15 more dollars on an adapter from Amazon and when I plugged it in the machine booted up. If you buy one of these servers, also buy https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08QYZQW6B?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1 and be done with it. Short review This product is exactly what they said it is and customer service is among the best I have encountered. Well worth the money spent.

Fantastic price for a fantastic server.
A friend of mine sent this listing to me, and I thought it was too good to be true, but I was in need of a virtualization server, and the price was incredible. The product arrived on time, and was packaged incredibly well with padding throughout the box. I got it unpacked, hooked up a monitor, plugged into power on the wall, it turned on without issues and after about 5 minutes I was sitting at the Windows server login. All hard drives are genuine 4tb HP SAS drives (which is great as it means ILO doesn't freak out and run the fans at 100%) in raid 0. I changed the drives to run as a raid 10 8tb drive, and installed proxmox without issues, and I've now got multiple Vms created and running. Overall an amazing deal for an amazing product.

A Server Fit for an Evil Genius
My DL360 Gen9 is frickin’ fantastic. Powerful, reliable, and packed with features that make running my lair—uh, lab—smooth and effortless. Performance is rock‑solid, management is a breeze, and it handles every workload I throw at it like a loyal henchman. Five stars. Highly recommended… for world domination and virtualization.

ok
At least of the server fans was loud, needs replacement - costs a few dollars and could have been replaced by vendor. Have to do it myself now.

As advertised, great packaging, fully updated to latest SPP
What a great modern virtualization server for the price! No surprises. Exact memory, cpu and disk as advertised. Excellent packaging. Was pleasantly surprised to see the latest SPP was already applied. Came with evaluation copy of Windows Server 2019, but HP offers a free Proliant ESXi ISO that's ready to roll. Very pleased all the way around.

Great price for awesome specs!
I bought TWO because they were such good deals! Highly recommed! I upgraded mine from Windows Server 2019 to Server 2022, but 2019 is still really good. The servers are great but they are very LONG! You'll need a big server rack to hold these, as they are 32 inches long.

Not as described. Do you homework first. Not 36 core machine!!! Seller lies!
If it sounds to good to be true it usually is! First off this thing came with Windows server 2016 instead of 2019. No a huge deal, but it was already password protected. Still not a huge deal. But then after getting all these issues straightened out. Half the hard drive were dead or the server hard drive slot was dead. Not acceptable. When opening it up it look like someone threw the server down a flight of stairs. It was all beat up and not in great shape! Not a "Amazon Renewed" item unless "Amazon Renewed" mean used beat up junk! I will never trust the "Amazon Renewed" label again. It just mean used junk! UPDATE: Bought a second one of these hoping it would be better. I was not. THESE ARE NOT 36 CORE MACHINES. THEY ARE FALSLY ADVERTISING THEM. Amazon should take this down off their site, because it is giving them a very bad name.
