Arrived on time well packaged the finish on the gear change stems looks good fitted the bike very pleased

Whilst I was not expecting a lot for the price paid, I basically got 2 quids worth of scrap aluminum. 1. The tooling marks are clearly visible under the powder coating admittedly a cosmetic issue. 2. The fit and finish of the internal splines are way oversize and rely on the clamping force of a M6 bolt to create a grip on gear change shaft 3. The clamping bolt has been drilled in the wrong place, there is a groove in the gearbox change shaft that the clamping bolt should engage with providing a second level of security for the gear shift lever should the bolt become loose. The bolt is at least 3mm out of position. 4. The slit in the gear shift lever finishes with a flat bolt which leads to stress cracking in the corners the correct way to finish this is have the slit terminate in a predrilled hole 5. All the clamping force is exerted by a M6 stainless steel cap head bolt which screws home into a thread cut directly into aluminum. This thread will strip with the minimum of torque applied to the bolt. THESE PARTS ARE NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE - VERY DISSAPPOINTED IN AMAZON SELLING THIS RUBBISH

Habe die Shifthebel an eine HD Road Glide Special Bj. 21 gebaut. Passt perfekt, schalten kann man auch problemlos und die Verarbeitung passt.
