I happen to crave books like this! It’s a story of lies, deception, and the two people who take it all on to destroy those who have tried to destroy them. I was so destroyed by this book and every emotion it pulled from me that I need time to recover! This is as spicy and naughty as it gets and yet it’s really about embracing the primal parts of us and not allowing the powerful, dirty, evil men in society to mold us or destroy us. It’s got so many powerful meanings that I was left depleted. Their Love is a sick one but they embrace their sick love and turn it into a powerful tool to bring about the revenge they so deserve. Aero and Bri are true hero’s in a world that tries to eliminate them. You’ll be on the edge of your seat and surprised at the secrets that are slowly revealed. This is an erotic dark tale with dark religious leaders. It ends with an HEA that befits this couple ! Well written and a must read 🖤 Review: Good and interesting story - So, I finished this story and I'm still thinking about it a few days later. I think it was a very well written and interesting story. I read many mixed reviews however, I decided that I wanted to listen to it anyway so I read the Kindle version while listening to it on Audible. I think listening to it definitely brought the story to a next level because both voice actors or phenomenal! The characters were very well written, the story took turns that I didn't expect and some that I did expect, and overall I felt that it was good and really made me think. There were aspects in the story that definitely are unfortunately true and I think that's why it was impactful and made you think. Definitely read the warnings in the beginning of the book because some people could have hard time with the story. I just went in being open to the story and I think it was one of those that definitely left a lasting impression. I hope other people will enjoy the book as much as I did and I think if you have to choose I would choose the audio version! Happy Reading/listening!

Jescie Hall is Brilliant - Enough Said!
ou helped me to find a fragment of peace in a world constructed of pain Aero gave me my voice by allowing me to find it for myself. He empowered what they’d labeled sin. Review Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️5/5 - A stroke of genius. Heat Index : 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ A FIREY INFERNO /5 Oh my gooooooooooooooooooooood. My mind is racing with thoughts. So. 👏 Many. 👏 Thoughts. 👏 First thought, I need to immediately cleanse myself with holy water. Secondly, I adore dark romances, though I'm not typically a fan of stalker romances. However, this was executed brilliantly. It just works. Jescie expertly wove in every detail, leaving me unable to put it down, eagerly awaiting the final revelations. Her genius truly knows no bounds. Seriously, she's like the Da Vinci of vigilante sh!t. As someone raised in the Bible Belt, there are many themes in this book that resonated deeply with me. While some may find it taboo, I found it to be a profoundly liberating read. It's so wrong, yet undeniably right. It truly forces you to take a long, hard look at things. "Evil comes in many forms, often masked by those who proclaim holiness." Now, fair warning, this book's not everyone's cup of tea. This book won't be for everyone; it can be downright sacrilegious at times. But in my mind, it's a masterpiece. A beautifully crafted masterpiece. A masterpiece that's been crafted with so much thought and finesse, and even if you're not on board with the themes, you've gotta give props where they're due. This is one wild ride. It's a gripping experience from start to finish. Briony, our initially naive fmc, was raised within the strict confines of her religion, a domain dominated by men and hypocrisy. She begins with blinders on, never questioning the status quo. She was molded to fit their mold, and they nearly succeeded. Then we meet Aero, our exquisitely broken, utterly tormented, and frankly psychotic man. Aero is a product of the traumas he's endured throughout his life. I felt every ounce of his agony, and the way Jescie brought him to life was nothing short of exceptional. He's obsessive and unhinged, knowing no boundaries. He's driven by the fine line between love and hate. He's the teacher, but he allows her to learn and see with her own eyes, forming her own deeply rooted animosity. The way he helps Briony find her voice? Pure poetry. The character growth here is off the charts. The revenge, the whole vigilante bit, sign me up. Every jaw-dropping revelation had me clutching the book, refusing to put it down till I had all the deets. Now, about the sizzle. This thing's got more heat than a five-alarm fire. I'm not kidding when I say it's a five-chili read. Jescie cranks up the thermostat, and you'll need a polar plunge to cool off. Now, here's the kicker. I went full throttle, did the whole reading and audio experience. And let me tell you about the audio—Holy moly, Joe Arden, you're a legend. The way he breathed life into Aero with Jescie's words? Next level. And I'm already a Joe fan, but this was like a whole new ball game. He delved into Aero's mind like a pro, giving us a front-row seat to the circus of his tormented soul. Desiree nailed Briony too. The dual narration? It brought the whole shebang to life in the most epic way. Bravo! Oh my goodness, I absolutely adored this one. It accomplished what many dark romances only dream of. The journey of conquering inner demons was like a symphony for my soul, a melody so few have managed to strike. To transform something so unconventional into a feeling of absolute rightness was pure genius, and I've wholeheartedly joined the Jescie fan club for life. The execution was nothing short of impeccable, and I could gush about it endlessly.

decent story, but….
I give the spice a 5/5 ⭐️ I give the story a 3.5/5 ⭐️ Was it a good story yes, it had its good moments for me, but I felt like certain things in the storyline for certain characters fell flat. It seemed like a cross between haunting Adeline and the ritual mixed together in some aspects and that made it a little hard for me to power through. Not because I didn’t like those books I definitely did, but I’ve already read those and this felt a little bit like a knockoff? I hate to say that but it did. I love me a good dark mmc, but to me aero tried way to hard in some areas in the book, and his style of words and how he treated the fmc sometimes turned me off in a major way. I can totally understand his aversion to religion, but it’s like he was trying to hard for me. All in all if you want to read it go ahead because it’s still a good book with really good content just some stuff was a little hard to get into. Remember to check your tws because this one is very, very dark religious trauma.

My favorite stalker romance novel!
Edited 7/12/23 to review the audiobook version of this story, narrated by Joe Arden and Desiree Ketchum, produced by Blue Nose Audio: When I tell you that I’m not a regular audiobook listener, I’m telling the truth. I have “DNF’ed” so many audiobooks in the past because the narration didn’t fit how the characters spoke in my mind. I know - it’s a “me” problem. So when I was graciously offered a chance to listen to the THAT SIK LUV audiobook, even though I loved reading the book, I’ll admit that I was initially hesitant. What if I couldn’t finish it? What if the narrator's voices didn’t fit the voices I’d imagined for the characters in my mind? Within the first few chapters of this audiobook, I knew that this narration was going to work for me. Not only are Joe and Desiree incredibly easy to listen to and understand, they also had clear, distinct voices for each character. Desiree was a perfect Briony, and my hell, Joe was the perfect Aero. Several of my friends who listen to audiobooks told me how great Joe’s voice was, and now having listened to it, I am a believer! The passion and energy that these two put into the voice acting floored me. The other thing that really worked for me was the way that the duet narration was executed. Even during a chapter were one of them had the main narration, the other narrator would come in and do a voice if it was for the opposite gender. For example, in an Aero POV, if Joe was narrating and there was dialogue with a female character, Desiree did the female voice. Joe and Desiree have single-handedly changed the audiobook game for me, as their voice acting was second to none. Both of them set the bar so high for any future audiobooks I might listen to. ORIGINAL REVIEW: When asked what my favorite stalker romance book is, my answer – hands down – will be THAT SIK LUV. The book as a whole just works for me, and it ticks all of my boxes when it comes to what I like to see in a dark romance novel. In the beginning of the book, we meet Briony. Briony is in school climbing the ranks to try and become a leader in her church when she starts getting mysterious messages from an unknown person – her stalker, Aero. Briony is a critical thinker, and I really enjoyed watching her thought process as the story went on. Aero is a complex character who intrigued me the moment I was introduced to him. Witnessing the character growth of our two protagonists, Aero and Briony, was a ride I didn’t want to end! Their love is toxic, twisted, full of red flags – and I LOVED IT. I have never read anything quite like this book. The underlying reason for the stalking, the character behavior and the setting – it’s a magical combination that I couldn't get enough of. If you have triggers, be sure to check them before reading. The list is longer than your weekly grocery order!

Aero is #1 stalker and nothing will change my mind!!!
"You're a woman without a voice, Briony...let me be the throat through which you scream" Every time Jescie writes a book, it becomes my new favorite and That Sik Luv is no exception. I have been blown away once again by the writing skills of this woman. Jescie has the ability to describe things in such detail that it immerses you into each page you're reading. Her writing is completely captivating. The world building and the character development is hands down the best I've ever read. This book is the darkest of dark. It has all of the tropes, all of the trigger warnings, it's kinky, dark, depraved and delicious. There are no words that are accurate enough to describe how amazing this book is. I couldn't wait to "add to cart" and I'll be absolutely feral waiting for it to land at my front door. Aero is not even morally grey, he is pitch freaking black. He is calculating, methodical, dominating, posessive, obsessive, I could go on and on. He is the most amazing character I've ever seen and I doubt that any other man will top him. Briony...I loved this woman with my whole heart. To watch her blossom before us and become the most bada$$ FMC was amazing. I want more of these two and really hope that in the future we'll get it. I would love to see more books that continue on after the end of this book. I would love to see them dish out their own punishment for the wrong doings of those mentioned at the end of the book. I cannot even find the words to describe how much I loved this book. The English dictionary does not contain such words. I highly, HIGHLY recommend that your read this immediately and also that you add the physical copy to your library because it's a book that you'll want to read over and over again. The spicy scenes alone are worth reading again and again. I truly can't wait to see what the future holds for Jescie. I've read all of her books and each one gets better and better. All I can say is bravo and congratulations on this amazing release! “You, Aero, are the throat from which I’ve been allowed to scream" CHECK THE TRIGGER WARNINGS This book contains but not limited to: Spitting Breath play Stalking Religious trauma Cult-like settings CNC Degradation Voyeurism Exhibitionism Somnophilia Graphic depictions of unaliving BDSM Desecration of religious artifacts

Healthy love of that sik luv
Jescie Hall can do no wrong. I drink up everything she writes, and I just love it all. I started with Hawke, and that was pretty good. Of course, I've since reread it and love it even more now. Kid is my favorite so far. He just holds such a special place in my heart and made me cry far too much. That Sik Luv addresses a lot of the man made societal oppressions of religion. This can be triggering for some, but it really paints the other side of the picture of how structured religion has been used to hurt people and also hide the ones that feel untouchable because they represent God's power, but not His love. Growing up in a pretty religious family, some of this hit pretty close to home. The message is beautiful, and the gore and mystery added some fun. The spicy was spicy as well. Sick, twisted, taboo, and HOT. I couldn't put it down, and it was a very quick and exciting read. On to devour the next Jescie Hall masterpiece. Check your trigger warnings, but if this is in your wheelhouse, you're gonna love it and want to own every special edition trophy like me!
