ScratchBuster Pro Sleeve

I'm a cat only groomer so I bought these to give my hand extra protection when I groom cats. They are expensive at £60 but I thought I'd give them a go as everyone raves about them The length of them are great and they seem comfortable and well made. But the material around the hand for me is too big, I dont have small hands either and they are one size fits all....which is not the case unfortunately.This is a design/safety issue because a cat could easily get their paw into that gap and claw my hand and I'm not going to risk my safety. I'll continue wearing my cut proof safety sleeves which are significantly less expensive. It's a shame because I really wanted to like them.

She looks sweet! However, when I prepared to use these gloves I "armed" myself with a margarita as well! I was able to trim nails on one paw and half the nails on another without any injuries to myself or my kitty before I though it best to stop for a bit. She tried her best to scratch me and bite me! Although my fingers were exposed, I like that I was able to move my fingers. I don't think I would have been able to hold the trimmers with other gloves I looked at. All in all, I think these are going to work. Having to go to the vet every other week for nail trims was getting rather old, and expensive to boot. These will pay for themselves very quickly. Hopefully I don't lose my nerve - I need to get the other paw completed! I recommend these to anyone afraid of trying to trim nails as I am.

If you know you know. These are are worth more than gold in the cat world of rescuing and grooming.
