I loved this Libbey glass set from the moment I saw it. The design with the "Blue Ribbon" detail is beautiful without being over the top, making each glass look elegant for everyday use or for entertaining. The glasses have a nice weight to them—they feel sturdy and high-quality—without being too heavy. The tumblers are perfect for water, sodas, or long cocktails, while the rocks glasses work great for whiskey, juices, or short drinks. They're also easy to clean and don't tarnish or lose their shine with use. Overall, it's a very complete, beautiful, and durable set. I definitely recommend it if you're looking for quality glasses that also add a touch of style to your table.

The glasses are heavier, sturdier. and more stable to avoid falling over and breaking. They replace glasses that are light, thin, and break easily. They make the perfect everyday glasses and look great for large family table settings. One of my old thinner everyday drinking glasses broke easily in my dish tray after washing by hand and setting it in the drying rack causing several stitches to be made on my hand when I picked it up not noticing the broken glass. They also fit well in my dishwasher--less hand washing. Totally pleased!

Beautiful Set, but breaks easily

This review is for the Samba model. We like these a lot and would buy again. Best thing about them is they hold more than the other Libbey glasses, especially the 14 ounce rocks glasses. Surprisingly, my wife, teen daughter, and I prefer the rocks glass as it holds an entire 12 once soft drink with ice, or a can of beer, and they just feel good in the hand, with proper heft and comfortable shape. Second best thing is they taper inward, which is rare with glassware, and that means beverages do not slosh out of them easily! Important if on the move, and we take these out on the patio and otherwise carry them about a lot. But, I give four stars for two reasons. The base thickness varies and slopes on all the glasses and no two are alike. Secondly, the interiors are not smooth and stirring sweetener into tea, as I do frequently, means the spoon chatters against the lobes, which are not just on the exterior but carry through to the interior. If they made these with a smooth interior they woyld be close to perfect. After 18 months of regular usage,none have been broken, so they are proving to be durable .

So far, these glasses are exactly what I was looking for: beautiful, well made and affordable. I wasn't sure what I was going to think about the indents, but they're actually comfortable and I find the glasses very easy to hold. These are a must buy!

Wanted lager number of matching glasses; therefore, purchased same as two previous orders of same glasses. Quality: They are uniquely and uniformly shaped for better gripping, durable, and high quality. They take day to day use (even with children) and dishwasher. One was chipped over 8 months from striking it on granite, fault of the person. We are repeat customers of this same glass sets and have three sets (minus the one we chipped) , and even my adult son was so impressed that he purchased two sets of this same glass design, but without a swoosh color. Glasses arrived on New Years Day and were not quite the same as other orders, with a thinner less bold blue swoosh line. Contacted Libby's customer service, and they sent new set with the bolder blue swish lines that same holiday date - New Years Day. I didn't expect any response until the following week, but within a hour or so everything was fixed!

Excellent glasses. Have purchased a handful of glassware sets from Libbey over the past couple of decades, and the quality has always been fantastic for the price range. These are versatile, and will look great in your kitchen no matter what your style. Love that I can buy a 24 piece set, since my teens tend to hoard glasses in their bedrooms. Plus Libbey has truly excellent customer service. I look forward to using these for the next several years.

I was worried about ordering glasses online, but I have bought cheap glasses in-store before that were crap and (dangerously) broke. These were packaged very well, and thicker than they appear in the pictures. The colouring is really nice, and with proper care I see them lasting a long time. Very happy with this purchase and I agree with what other reviewers have said about the product, the main reason I took the chance and ordered them in the first place. My recommendation is to order them directly from Libby (on the Amazon site still); I cancelled my original order fulfilled by Amazon after 2 weeks of no fulfillment, placed the order through Libby, and received them a couple of days before the estimated delivery. All for a cheaper price - go figure.

amazing glassware, feels really sturdy, good weight and long wearing while not too thick or chunky to drink from. Colour won't rub off like some other designs as it's not printed on. Shape is so lovely in the hand and all slightly unique as they're handblown glass. Got these on sale so an 8 pack of each size was cheaper than two packs of 4. definitely still an investment but feels like they'll last really well. for a gift and I think they'll be really pleased with them
