発泡スチロール製品ですが、機能的には充分です。 恐らくレザー製品だと柔らかいので機能的には微妙かも知れません。 私は仰向けに寝てから、背骨と直角に入れて、横隔膜（おうかくまく）を広げる為に深呼吸します。 此れは私が通っている整骨院の柔道整復師の先生の助言ですね。
