Buy this if you don't have a windshield or travel more than 100 miles per day
Very easy to install: mark two holes with supplied template; drill 1/4" holes; and tighten screws.I installed the E103 backrest on my E300N2 top case for my Royal Enfield which doesn't have and never will have a windshield. No longer do I have to lean into the wind tightly gripping the controls. And it really helps my lower back on long rides.Highly recommended.

It is a backrest / quite firm
Nice backrest, firm, comes with a paper cutout to facilitate mounting, I grabbed a right sized drill bit that had a sharp point in it, (the pointy kind prevents the bit from drifting on the plastic) * holes in the right place, and backrest miunt d reasonably easily to my givi 30l box.

Gut - einfach - leider etwas überteuert
Produkt ist wie beschrieben und in sehr guter Qualität. Anbau ließ sich einfach bewerkstelligen. Nur der Preis ist eigentlich etwas zu hoch für so ein kleines Stück Kunststoff.

A little fiddly to fit.
For some reason this comes in it’s own high quality bag which once fitted is no longer required.Fitting to the top box should be relatively easy using the template supplied, however perhaps due to repeated copying of an original, it would appear that the indicated marks are now a few millimetres out.My original intention was to use silicone as well as the supplied bolts to fix it however as it’s a bit awkward to align the bolts with the captive threads in the backrest I am glad I didn’t bother.One thing I found useful was to insert a suitable drill bit in one hole to help align it while fixing the first bolt, as even with two people on the job it’s not easy to align both bolts.
