Great little chopper
Great little grass cutter ideal for small gardens. Light and easy to use, however if the grass is long it does get stuck so would need to strim it down first. Instructions are as much use as a chocolate fire guard, doesn't tell you what blades are for what or how to put them on, or what the different guards are for. Main thing to be wary of is those blades are sharp and do get stuck in your fence if too close even with the bit on that's mean to stop it happening. Otherwise fantastic value for money and takes up very little storage space.

Cordless strimmer
The product is good for the money and ideal for the amount of strumming we need to do.The metal blades are really good but sharp so take care.Tried one of the plastic blades and it snapped very quickly. So not so struck on those.Light, easy to use, I trailing cables to get cut or snagged.Ideal performance for a smaller garden.

Cheap and not cheerful. Didn’t even manage to put it together without something breaking.
I just wanted something to strim the grass in a very small garden but with wheels to keep a static level above the ground. First, the manual does not mention two spanners are needed and lacks any real detail so first time round I put the guard on upside down. Flimsy plastic grass guard is what the wheels fit to but they are so fiddly I wasted two hours on this one step still unable to do the second bolt up, and the other wheel that was already secured tight after about half an hour of trying was still wobbly when you spin it round when you actually need it secure. The second wheel - the bolt would not thread onto the nut supplied and the plastic slot for it soon wore away when trying to do it up meaning it would never tighten properly, swear word count by this time was very high and enough to make a nun blush. Basically this is not likely to last any time at all on the parts that will take the most wear in use, so I disassembled the parts that did do up and put everything back in the box for return. What’s really astonishing is that this model was actually the best of various ones I looked at which come with wheels (to make using it easy on my back and shoulders). Save yourself the hassle and choose another product.

Mixed feelings, but it does the job.
This bit of kit is a health and safety nightmare. As a 75 year old with Alzheimer's, and liable to lose concentration disastrously any second, I'm very wary of things with whizzy sharp blades. But, that said, I only have a small front "lawn", mainly nasty weeds on clay soil that ranges from baked hard to squelchy. I have tried the usual strimmers in the past and it was a constant battle, the plastic cord breaking every two minutes and the greenery looking unscathed. And no, I can't afford the prices of the people who come around offering to cut it for what amounts to a week's pension. Accordingly, the weeds tend to grow high...I first used this trimmer last year and it did a reasonable job, surprising me. I have just used it again, May 2025, to attempt to counter a sudden burst of growth in the weed-patch. I think a long-handled and very sharp scythe would be better, then I could don the black cloak and swish away merrily scaring passing Terry Pratchett readers, but frankly the garden isn't big enough for a for a full-size scythe, and my knees and other joints don't like the idea of getting down to use a billhook. I got about a third of the way through, using the double curved metal blade, my wife grabbing away the cuttings when the blade had stopped spinning, and had to stop to rest. I find it awkward, hard work, I can't find a combination of handle/wheel settings that is comfortable for me - but, a little bit at a time, this thing does eat into the tall weeds and if you get the angle right, trims quite close to the uneven ground. I came in to fetch the second battery and recharge the first one (possibly unnecessary, but it was an excuse). and write this review - an excuse to put off starting again! The photo shows what I am dealing with.My Alzheimer's didn't prevent me from putting the thing together, but then my brain was always wired for that sort of thing - I was a Meccano child.I like how quiet it is, this makes it easier for me to maintain concentration. I like that it is cordless so I won't be tripping over cables, or worse chopping through them (I have plenty of Black & Decker experience of that). I like that it doesn't take up half my small shed.I imagine if you have an even patch of lawn grass, this will do the job easily and without effort. Just don't expect miracles!

Handy to have garden tool
Arrived next day. Lightweight and easy to use. Value for money and does the job. Handy when the lawn needs cutting but grass is wet and using a mower would churn it up.Used this to cut the grass. Negative is you have to rake the grass up afterwards but it did what we needed it to do.Only other issue was the instructions on putting it together. They are not very helpful pretty flimsy.Easy to charge battery.

Better than I thought it would be
I had low expectations of this when I bought it in the Amazon sale. It's turned out to be a far better piece of garden hardware than I could have expected. The metal blades are very effective on weeds and grass, and if, like us, you only have a very small area of lawn to manage, this is a perfectly suitable replacement for a lawnmower.
