Almost perfect
I've had our EPLO D7 pro installed for about a week and here are my impressions. 1. Packaging / initial inspection: The toilet was packaged well and I didn't find any damage or defects. The toilet appears to be well built. I was missing the battery pack from my delivery. The customer service was pretty good about getting me a replacement. It took about a week, but they scrounged one up and sent it to me. 1. Installation: The install is pretty straight forward. One reason I like this toilet is you can use the existing flange and don't have to drill additional holes in your floor like other models. I had to grind down the sides of the T bolts so they would nest inside the plastic wings that mount to the flange. They are designed to be used with the supplied plastic sewer flange that is thicker than the metal one I have already in place. Getting it lowered in place over the wings was a little fun, but we got it there. It is a 2 person operation. Once I installed the supplied screws into the wings, the toilet seemed pretty secure. I caulked it to the floor for additional stability. The hoses are 1/2 inch compression fittings so I did change my valve out from 3/8 to 1/2 inch. I'm not sure how much different this makes in performance, but I wanted to eliminate any flow restrictions. Performance: When I first powered it on, the toilet went through its self test. After that I did the manual check of the functions and everything worked fine. The toilet has a great flush. I was a little concerned about this based on some other reviews, but it has no issues and the way it circulates the water during the flush keeps the bowl clean. The lid and seat opening work great. I was worried the lid would be opening every time I walked near it, but you have to be less than 2 feet from it to sense you and open. The heated seat is nice and warm too. I can't tell much about the deoderizer or the UV sterilization other than they are operational. Performance: It has worked without issue. I like the fact that as a guy, I can use the toilet standing up and once I walk away, it knows I was there and flushes. They have done a good job on the the toilet operation logic. The air dry is OK, probably like most other bidet toilets. It is a nice warm breeze and if you sit on the toilet for 5 minutes you will probably get dry, but I usually end up grabbing a couple squares of TP before that to do the final dry. What's keeping it from being perfect: This is not a deal breaker, but I was hoping for a stronger bidet stream. It's OK, just not quite as strong as I would like it and not as strong as our Toto Washlet bidet seat. I contacted customer service and they were great about explaining why it is the way it is. That doesn't help any with a stronger stream, but I'm am now more educated on the bidet operation. The water temp is great, the movement of the wand is great and I will get used to the bidet stream pressure in time. One thing I did during the install was to remove the screen in the hose T. I could see it getting clogged with mineral deposits over time and affecting water flow. There is another screen in the bidet circuit, but you have to remove the entire bidet assembly to get to it. I'll wait on that one. My one long term concern is how I will keep the toilet working. With all the parts in this toilet, some will fail in time. There is no supplied parts list. When a part breaks, I'm not sure how well EPLO is set up to provide replacement parts. Time will tell.

Good value for a full feature high quality design
I have no complaints. This is very well designed toilet with almost every feature anyone could need/want. It is a tankless design, so you do need to have reasonable water pressure at the toilet (nothing special, but if less than standard, it may not flush well enough) and a GFI 110V outlet within 3 ft of the back of the toilet. The only feature that is “missing” is a seat that automatically lifts and closes with a sensor. Personally, this was not important to me, and it is available in the more expensive model. After a month, I am very pleased with it and all of the included features. I live in Hawaii, so the heated seat is not particularly important for me, but it works very well. The bidet front/back (pressure, water temp and direction adjustments), blow dryer with 3 strength and heat settings, and night light all work very well. The remote control has a wall mount for convenient access and storage. The basic wash and flush controls are also available directly on the toilet. For a high quality and no compromise design, it stacks up very well against even significantly more expensive competitors.

Silent, well executed convenience
We bought 2 of these EPLO DP7 SE Smart Toilets for a remodel and could not be happier. Installation was fairly straightforward. The back of the toilet is wider than conventional toilets, so you have to make sure the inlet coming from the wall is in the right place. Use the template provided to check clearance. There is a large cutout in the back, so valve can be tucked into the toilet. Initially, we were concerned with valve access since this is now in the toilet. However, if you read the instructions for backup battery replacement, you will see that the top section (bidet) can be easily removed, and there is plenty of access. Bidet functions, heated seat, all features work really well. The boost pump assisted flush is really powerful - probably the best feature of all! Another feature that we liked is that all the push button functions were executed with soft beeps, and no music, no fanfare. We like automation and convenience, but a rice cooker playing a ring tone upon completing it's task is a bit too much for us. The product appears to be well made, and very affordable compared to some other name brands. Very happy with the purchase.

Great product and great customer service!
We purchased two of EPLO DP7 smart toilets when we renovated our two bathrooms 2 years ago and have been enjoying all of the great features, especially the heated seat and built in bidet. A month ago we started hearing a rumbling sound when the bidet was in use, so we reached out to customer support and Lee was prompt in responding to our inquiry and helping us troubleshoot the issue via a video chat. When the issue couldn't be resolved on the initial call, he realized what the root cause was and that it required a replacement part. He requested replacement part to be shipped to our house and it was received timely. He also provided an easy to follow Youtube video on how to replace the part. After replacing the part our toilet is as good as new.
