It's good to stock up on a variety of different supplements as you never know what you might need in an emergency down the road. Vitamin D is vital, as is calcium. So in a future scenario where you might not have as much as you need through other means, this is a good supplement.These are really big, but not too hard to swallow if you have a little drink of water with them. Plus they're liquid gels, so they dissolve and start working very quickly.

A notification that the company adheres to the guidelines of the GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) trade group, and for third party purity analysis. This Spring Valley Calcium indicates neither of those items on the label. I tried to find information on the website for Spring Valley product information, to no avail. This product sells for 3-6 times more per unit than similar products sold on Amazon, and I can find no information telling me why they are better. They appear to be the same as other absorbable calcium products. I would suggest the consumer use due diligence concerning the manufacturing, purity, and price of this Spring Valley product. I do note on the label that this brand is carried by a big box store, but still no GMP or third party analysis, so I would not buy it from the box store either. I am familiar with this type of capsule, and they are easy to swallow. I would not recommend this calcium to a friend.
