Amazing!
I was converted to Ice Massage in college when I suffered significant knee pain. I began using these (and a foam roller; I've reviewed a great one if you're looking) as part of my rehab regiment. I wish I could tell you that these are a pain free device that will solve all of your problems and world hunger too, but unfortunately that would be lying. Ice massage, like most deep tissue massage, is not a wonderfully enjoyable experience at the time. If shortly after you exercise and use it with small, precise strokes hitting knots (you'll develop a feel for where they like to accumulate and it makes it easier to track them down) and work the knots out you will feel a million times better. One trick I have learned with these, if you fill them with HOT water it will freeze faster and you will have stronger, clearer ice, and its also less likely to break or be rough. You won't regret buying this, I highly recommend them for any athlete. Cons: Only things that should be expected (i.e. water melts, which means if you don't put a towel or something under you; you will get wet). Pros: Easy to use, Eases Pain, Great for getting yourself back to training fast.

5 star Cryocup Ice Massage Therapy Tool from Sammons Preston
I LOVE IT!!!! I was converted to Ice Massage in college when I suffered significant knee and shoulder pain. I began using these as part of my rehab treatment. You won't regret buying this, I highly recommend them for any athlete or ANYONE with some pain around the body. It is super easy to use, affordable, and eases the pain... what else do we want? :)

THE best treatment for Epicondylitis
Product: Cryocup Ice Massage Therapy Tool Rating: 4/5 (excellent) I've occasionally had problems with epicondylitis (aka "tennis elbow"), which as anyone who's ever had it knows, can be an infuriatingly persistent and slow to resolve condition. For me, ice massage (and the Cryocup in particular) has always helped to shorten the duration and severity of my flareups. After an initial overnight freeze, to use it all you have to do is park a folded towel in your lap under your arm, Pop the frozen ice massager out of it's mold cup, and massage the pain away for 10-12 mins, several times a day ... and it's easy to top off and refreeze between uses with a little cold water. This is a simple tool that works well and offers a lot of bang for the buck. Recommended. p.s. Very minor nit - it's too bad the handle can't be easily released from the ice, in case you want a frosty drink. ;)

Perfect therapy tool for sore muscles
My first experience with a cryocup was at my chiropractors office. I loved the simplicity of it, and the fact that you can use it to massage and get ice relief at the same time. I have a lot of issues with my back, arms, and legs, and this is fantastic to use when I am sore. Both easy to use on your own, or for someone else to use. I find that the ice does melt fast against the skin, but the cup is big enough that you will definitely be able to get through your massage session quickly enough that it will last. I do suggest getting two so you always have one available (if you need to ice daily or multiple times a day).

Plastic susceptible to cracking
Great for icing. Beats Dixie cups. Having said that, the plastic will crack if your freezer is really strong, due to sudden water expansion. It would be great if they could make one out of rubber or metal, because while I love it, I've had to replace mine multiple times, due to the cup cracking. I've literally bought dozens of cups, because at some point, they crack. I remember once I bought four of them, and literally all four cracked the first week. This was a couple years ago, and I should've contacted Amazon about it, but I didn't know at the time.

Great product for icing injuries
Got for icing elbow injury. Easy to use and works great! Remember to run under warm water to get ice to separate from cup after freezing.

Great little tool for icing down various aches and pains
My family and I have used Cryocups for years to treat various aches and pains, ranging from elbow and shoulder tendonitis to IT band syndrome and plantar fasciitis. With multiple runners in the house, it seems that every year there are a couple of minor issues that need to be addressed. The Cryocup is a great option for working with sore joints or muscles. It comes as a two-part unit. Put the two pieces together snugly, fill them with water, and place them upright in the freezer. When frozen, you just twist the two parts apart and use the exposed ice cube for an ice massage. More often than not I have to run them under warm water for 10 seconds to break the seal. No problem with durability, as my cups get very heavy use and have lasted for a number of years. Eventually the inside tabs break off, but it typically takes dozens, if not hundreds of applications before this happens.

I had these suggested to me from my PT (Physical Therapist) and they work great. The only thing is that i use them in the shower. Freeze an area and then run the hot water over the spot. Great therapy.
