Quality Shoes
I have had these a few weeks now and find them to be extremely comfortable. I am usually a 12 but I found that these were a little tight. Returned with no issue and ordered a 13 which fit perfectly.

Comfortable for wider feet
This is the third pair of these shoes I have bought. They are comfortable straightaway and do not need to be broken in, even for my feet which are wider than average. I have yet to test this pair in heavy rain but my feet were dry in drizzly conditions.I bought them in the colour pistachio and given the name and the picture I expected them to be more green rather than the mousy brown colour they are.

Supremely comfortable
Beautiful fit, lovely cushioned sole and heel. Ideal for walking and other forms of exercise. I am on my third pair, this will remain my top choice for hiking and exercise

So far, a big quality improvement over Moab 2
6 months in to wearing a pair of Moab 3’s and they’re still going strong! And seem a significant improvement in quality - I’ve taken a risk and bought a second pair!I have been getting very disillusioned with Merrell recently. Many seem to suffer the same “collapsing heel” cushion after less that 6 month west in my experience, with the fabric wearing quickly and the plastic support piece becoming deformed. This despite using a shoehorn almost every time I put them on! After 6-12 months, they’re not fit for much other than the bin!

Good boots at a very good price..
Just received my Moab 3’s & I’m happy with the whole transaction - including the boots! This is my 3rd pair of the Merrell Moab mid GTX boot so I’m aware of the criticisms regarding these.I bought these for the dryer weather - as much as we get in Scotland, anyway - so I’m well aware of any waterproof issues. I’ve other boots for wet weather. The reason I buy this model is for the comfort & stability on multi day walks - West Highland Way, Coast to Coast, Corfu Trail etc. I’ve never had a blister whilst wearing these.I don’t expect to get much more than 18 months out of them tbh & any more will be a bonus, although my last pair lasted 3 years before the sole unit started detaching from the upper. To be fair, this problem is common for most ‘fabric’ type boots - even those costing much more. This pair came via Amazon from the USA in timely fashion for £70odd but I had a voucher so a brand new pair cost just over £40 which I think is a great deal. Just remember with these boots to go up at least half a size.

Great Walking Shoes
Bought these quite recently on amazon "try before you buy" which was a first for me. i wasn't sure how comfortable they would be walking over stony ground. Fortunately they are very comfortable indeed and the pointy stones in the path are no longer pressing into my feet thanks to the strong soles on these shoes. Cant comment on durability but my long walks are now much more enjoyable than they use to be. Recommended.
