Fluoride Toothpaste 75Ml

After 4 years of using this toothpaste I thought I’d give it a honest review because it’s actually the best toothpaste I’ve ever used! Our dentist recommended that my son should use a high fluoride toothpaste so we bought this and it became the family toothpaste. I used to suffer from bleeding gums and cavities or at least I did before I started using this. I’ve experienced nothing but benefits from using this toothpaste my gums no longer bleed and I have no cavities. It’s quite strong tasting but it’s fresh and honestly you get used to it. It’s pretty pricey but it’s definitely worth it especially with how much you'll save at the dentists. My kids (now in their late teens) have no cavities either and fly through dentist appointments. I really can’t stress enough how great this toothpaste is it’s literally saved my teeth and I won’t use any other toothpaste.

I bought Parodontax Fluoride Toothpaste mainly for the fluoride protection and gum health benefits rather than the flavour. It contains around 1400–1450 ppm fluoride, which is the standard adult fluoride level recommended for helping strengthen enamel and reducing tooth decay. First thing to say: it is definitely not the nicest tasting toothpaste. Very salty, medicinal and unusual compared to normal mint toothpastes. It took me a couple of weeks to get used to it. What it does well: • Contains 1400–1450 ppm fluoride for cavity protection and enamel strengthening • Helps reduce bleeding gums with regular use • Leaves teeth feeling very clean and polished • Good for improving gum health over time • Helps lower plaque build-up when combined with proper brushing How long before results: For me, gum bleeding improved within 1 to 2 weeks of twice daily use. Gum soreness and inflammation gradually improved over about a month. What it cannot do: • It will not reverse advanced gum disease on its own • It will not dramatically whiten teeth • It cannot repair damaged gums or loose teeth • It is not a substitute for flossing, interdental cleaning or dentist visits How to use: • Brush twice daily for 2 minutes • Use a soft toothbrush and gentle pressure • Spit out excess foam but avoid rinsing heavily afterwards so fluoride stays on the teeth longer • Consistency matters more than using large amounts What not to do: • Don’t scrub hard as it can irritate gums • Don’t expect overnight results • Don’t rinse thoroughly straight after brushing • Don’t give up immediately because of the taste as that is honestly the worst part initially Overall, the taste is rough, but if you want a toothpaste with proper fluoride protection plus noticeable gum health benefits, it does the job well.

Bought this item as i’ve been experiencing extreme tooth sensitivity, and because of COVID i’m unable to get it sorted by the dentist. Not going to lie, the taste is disgusting so i recommend getting a mouthwash with it to use afterwards but overall the toothpaste has really helped after only a couple of uses so it’s worth the horrible taste :)

I can't fully review whether this works or not as it's one of those products that will depend more on the user and the damage already done. It hasn't prevented any decay from happening at all but then I've already had several fillings etc and after a few years I think it's almost impossible to improve things. I've been taking this a good 2 years or so after being recommended by my dentist. This is alongside using Listerine fluoride mouthwash since fluoride is supposed to help prevent decay etc. Funnily enough I just googled Fluoride and it can be bad for you if you swallow it. What I can rate is the size of the tube means the product lasts a long time (many months). Also the flavour is not bad. It has a slightly minty taste - not too overpowering, but not as pleasant as some of the standard toothpastes imo. The one thing I can say is that I personally have to also use sensodyne toothpaste alongside this as I have sensitive teeth and the Parodontax Fluoride toothpaste on its own is not enough. Obviously if you don't have sensitive teeth then you may be ok. It's pink in colour and smooth so no grittiness. It's worth searching around for it online as I've just got some a few quid cheaper than originally and I haven't seen it in any high street shops.

This stuff is foul tasting, so much for the 'improved taste' but it does work miracles on painful gums and teeth.
