Perfect for hair extensions. I used this on holiday when my sun cream dyed my extension hair orange - it cleanses them back to original blond

I bought this as my blonde hair extensions turned orange on holiday due to high iron content in the shower water. The crystal gel is easy to use and removed quite a lot of the orange and the conditioner is lovely and left my hair feeling like silk. However my hair is still strawberry blonde so I would recommend ordering more than one sachet, I’m going to order two more and my hair should be back to normal! I bought this treatment to try to remove the rusty colour from my hair extensions caused by suncream. It did the job! I was worried it would dry my hair but after a deep condition the hair was back to fabulous. Will keep Malibu treatment in my cabinet for any future hair emergencies!

I love using this the day before I get my hair colored (aka bleached and toned). I will say I used this once in the morning before my appointment, which i don't recommend because my scalp was a little too sensitive that day. I felt 0 discomfort when the bleach was processing, but It was really stingy when they washed my hair with a purple shampoo I had used before. A little scalp discomfort is normal when bleaching your hair, but when I do the malibu makeup over the night before I don't get any, and when I do it the same day I get some discomfort (not america's next top model hair drama discomfort just a bit of "i don't love the feeling on my scalp right now").

A bit messy to use but they did make a difference to blonde extensions, which had discolored due to chlorinated water

Very please with the effect this had on my hair, I've been bleaching and toning and dying for about 7 years now so my hair is very dry and brittle, this product made it feel much softer and it looked shinier than it has done in years. It also evened out the colour (I had blueish tones from using strong silver shampoo) I definitely want to purchase it again to give my hair some more nourishment.

I had two toned hair extensions. Went on holiday and unfortunately went completely orange from the pool water. I was thinking I had to replace it completely which was upsetting as it was brand new hair. I was advised about this product from the hair company so gave it a go. I’m very happy with the results as I didn’t think this was fixable. I mixed the gel in to a paste with 2oz of warm water and had my friend massage in to the orange section of hair. I put a thin plastic bag on it as did from home and applied heat for 10 mins with hair dryer, then left of for 45 mins applying heat a little more before rinsing. I washed my hair with purple shampoo left on ten mins then washed and applied the treatment. I again left this on for 10 minutes applied heat then rinsed. I am very happy. The blonde went back blonde. I do have two shades of extensions the darker blonde still a little warm so I may try tone this again but overall it’s definitely worth getting for discolouration. Easy to use and works
