Worked very well and as advertised. I expected the message saying non-oem battery being used but I did not get that on my t6i. Easy installation.

I could not be more pleased. The adapter runs cool (I had it active in my camera for over three hours and there was no discernible heating). What impressed me the most is the total length of the cable. Here are the measurements: From adapter (the part shaped like a battery) to the end of the first segment of cable measured 36 inches. The fixed cable from the transformer that connects to the above segment measures 48 inches. The figure 8 power end cord that connects the transformer to wall power measures another 48 inches. If you need something longer, you can purchase compatible cords here on Amazon for a reasonable price. I found that I did not need one. Another feature is that you can dispense with wall power and connect this to an external battery pack. The XTPower MP-10000 External Battery Pack with 10000mAh - dual USB 5V + DC 9V / 12V 2A (as one of many examples) will power my camera for hours (over six, in fact), using the 9V. I have been using this ACK-E18 daily since I purchased it and it has proven to be reliable. I am guessing that if it was going to fail, it would have done so by now.

I was about to return this DC coupler kit because it was not working on my T6i as I had thought. Problem was the battery door was open and needed to be closed to have the camera work with the couple kit and the dummy battery. However, after taking out a rubber pullout, I was able to close the battery door and the camera worked! DO NOT FORGET THE PULLOUT. This DC coupler works and works well!

Se siente muy frágil el material, siento que con cualquier caída muere. Sin embargo me ha funcionado siempre, he hecho más de 25 en vivos en youtube, y no me ha dejado morir. Lo tengo desde hace 5, casi 6 meses.

So far working great with once in a while use. Haven’t used it enough to fully gauge the performance over time so will hopefully update this then!

Bought this is a rush to use to livestream a town hall meeting for work. Used a Canon Rebel T7i and it was super easy to use and worked perfectly.

Does exactly what it's supposed to do. Nothing more nothing less.
