Magnetic Tiles Clear Starter Pack, 34 Pieces

I’m obsessed with the clear/see through type tiles and these are amazing quality and super clear! They’ve held up to being stepped on and thrown and still look great as well. Best magnetic tile brand!!!

We have bought the Ice Magnatiles before and these go well with them and these have additional shapes which my son loved.

Connetix is the flagship magnetic tile brand, with some of the best magnets and great color clarity. This specific set is my favorite expansion set after getting basic colorful pieces. While it might not seem like 34 pieces is worth the substantial price, this set is great because it provides the most USEFUL pieces in a clear color that will work well with other tiles. Four large squares are amazing, as these are the most expensive pieces. Two hexagons are all you're likely to need for builds, so you don't need to buy a special geometry set. Four small rectangles are also enough to fit most needs. I only wish it had way more right triangles, which tend to get a lot of use as supports (and clear supports are particularly useful). Still, overall, this is a great expansion set if you already have a colorful set with plenty of squares and triangles (for Connetix, if you have a rainbow or pastel starter pack, for example). In addition to a good selection of pieces, the fact that they are clear is great! There are many builds that benefit from clear pieces. Clear pieces can provide "invisible" supports. They can be used for ice builds and polar setups (e.g., combining with blue pieces). One of our favorite builds with these is little aquariums that we fill with toy fish/plants (great with Lego sharks, for example). Finally, we really like using these as "specimen" holders but placing natural items like flowers and leaves between two tiles. They can then be examined easily with a magnifying glass or microscope. The uses for these are endless!

My son has a vast collection of Magnetic style tiles, from roads, to jungles, castles, plain building. I grabbed these to add to his sets and they are really cool! He makes ice castles, lakes, windows, and everything he can imagine. 34 pieces are a nice size set and they are compatible with all of his other brands. Made well, have survived 2 boys! They make great stem play gifts.

I love the look of these but they are definitely thinner and more flimsy than the OG tiles. We are keeping them separate from the others so they stay monitored. I am concerned about if one comes open if the magnets would just fall out and be a huge concern

We own a variety of magnetic tile brands- magnetiles, Picassotiles, and a bunch of other random brands that I can’t recall.. these work with all of those! They are crystal clear so they make excellent windows, water.. etc for builds. My kids love this set. Great value.

My kids love playing with building magnets so we go this set to add to their collection. The work well with other brands we have, all have good magnets and stick well, plus they are the same size and a lot of the shapes are the same too. Some things we really liked about this set: -Comes with shapes we didn't have -It has enough magnets on its own to be fun on its own. -Clear magnets we didn't have. We also have Picasso and Magna brands which are the main brand name sets and this although they are really close are not quite the same quality. Magna are for sure the highest quality (also the most expensive by far), they are pretty solid and even have reinforced corners. I added some pictures, the green is magna, the red is picasso and the clear is connetix. This set is only still pretty good, they don't feel super breakable but they are a little lighter than the others and have a lower quality plastic but not by much. My kids are gentle with toys so I think they are good for us.
