Soft Tasty, Tangy Tomatillos (as it says on the tin)

Great for home made chilli

I bought these as we were doing a recipe for the first time n I like to follow the recipe forthe first time n then adapt it myself nx time if necessary. These have a fairly good taste but quite watery. An ordinary tin of Tom's with a few herbs will do just as well n much cheaper.

Had never, ever heard of these Mexican vegetables here in England but Louisiana Amy's recipe for Salsa Verde included them so gave it a go. Love them and love Amy, so it is thanks to her for introducing to them... "You know it"😋

Per chi che piace l'enchilada verde (o suiza) tipicamente messicana oppure chile verde con maiale dentro tortillas de harina, tomatillos sono necessario. Naturalmente ci vuole altri ingrediente aparte maiale e tomatillos. La ditta tedesca che ha fornito il prodotto sembra buona e affidabile. Consigliato.

Ich kenne diese Tomaten aus Mexiko und finde sie sehr lecker. Sie sind i.d.R. im Vergleich zu konservierten grünen Tomaten, die man hier bekommt, deutlich säuerlicher. Diese Erfahrung habe ich zumindest gemacht mit Produkten aus türkischen Supermärkten gemacht.

Diese Dosen-Tomatillos lassen sich selbstredend nicht mit frischen Tomatillos vergleichen. Aber wer nicht selbst zum Gärtner wird, dürfte in Deutschland kaum frische Tomatillos bekommen. Deshalb finde ich dieses Produkt - mit dem kleinen Geschmacksabstrich - großartig. Die geliebte Grüne Salsa lässt sich damit in wenigen Minuten erstellen. Lecker!
