Nature's Miracle Advanced Platinum Cat Scratch Deterrent Spray, 8 Ounces, Discourages Destructive Scratching

I had no idea this product existed! It’s a must if you have cats that tear things up. It works!!!! Wish I had known about this before my cat destroyed some baseboards. Highly recommend!!!

Right after I sprayed my furniture the first time, we thought my 4 month old kitten went into heat for the first time. She howled for days and avoided us when we were in the living room. A couple of weeks later (yesterday), I sprayed our couches again and she reacted the same way. I just got done cleaning the front portion of our couches that I sprayed about an hour ago and she’s already meowing less and is back cuddling with me on the couch. I feel bad that it affected her that way :(

I ran out of this spray fairly quickly because I had to over-spray my recliner chair because my cat insists on scratching it and crawling into it. The spray would work for a little while (30 min), but then my cat would go right back to scratching. My cat is a punk ass, so I don’t know if the product is failing or if its her. For people considering buying this, if your cat is a punk, takes several hits from a spray bottle before realizing they misbehaved, or if they walk around like they own the place, this product might not be the best for you. Also the scent smells like an herbal tea and its very strong.

I have the world’s scratchiest cat. Love her to death but she and I moved in with my partner and kitty went about destroying the fabric dining room chairs and my partner’s favorite living room chair. Can’t believe it took me months to think of looking for a spray. I sprayed all the scratched surfaces (does smell nice and the smell fades quickly) and the result was instant—no more scratching AT ALL (though she still sits on the chairs, which is good). After 10 days I saw her scratch once, so sprayed everything again. I think the bottle will last for months at this rate—a good deal for 8 bucks. I get that it doesn’t work for all cats, which is a bummer. Definitely thought it wouldn’t work for us, but it seems we got lucky. Wish they made a spray for begging at the dinner table like a damn dog ;-)

The product is mostly effective, BUT the spray bottle keeps getting stuck & the sprayer has to be pulled up manually before pressing down again. Messy & wasteful.

Product works. But do test the area. base boards and door frames it will leave a buildup. Very hard to clean off once dried.

It might be an OK thing if the sprayer worked. I don't know if I should drip it on a paper towel and try to wipe it on, but that would be wasting it... When I attempt to spray it, it just drips all over my wood floors and then I have a big mess to clean up. It really has been a waste of money for me. I'm so disappointed because the product itself came highly recommended, however, you can't use it if you can't spray it!

Smells like mint and citrus. It has kept my cat away from scratching my new couch!

I was very sceptical but so far so good ,my little terror has not as yet ripped my new lounge.Fingers crossed it keeps working 😊🤞

We have a cat who always scratches on the wrong things. We moved and she started scratching on our brand new carpet and I was desperate to save it. Sprayed a bit of this spray on her favourite spot (the top steps) and lo and behold! She stopped scratching immediately. She didn’t try again for 2 whole weeks, and then I reapplied and she’s been avoiding them again. Works amazing especially considering she used to scratch there every 10 min before! Smells a little like tea tree oil and cloves so not a bad smell, and the smell dissipates quickly. Best $10 ever spent - telling all my friends who have cats about this I also used this brand’s catnip spray on our cat’s new scratching post and she’s been m using it ever since instead of the steps, so I recommend using both sprays together for max effect

Did not work at all for 4 cats. 1 cat started scratching the area the day after it was sprayed and all 4 cats have played and slept on the area within 24 hours of spraying. It may work for your cats as other reviews have indicated but the essential oils seem to only have attracted my cats to the area more. The spray stream comes out quite strong and doesn't have a wide and fine spray so when using on fabric/linens it can leave blotchy marks (we tried on a blanket). The smell wasn't too offensive to me as some other reviews have indicated but it definitely does leave an essential oil type smell so if you are sensitive to those types of smell you may not enjoy this product.
