Works straight out the bag, glad someone still makes them as lego have retired them.

Broke sat on a shelf doing nothing!
This is the second one of these I've ordered. I thought I have burned out the first one, and accepted full responsibility. Given that, I have been incredibly careful with this one. Never connected it to anything other than the receiver and using friction gears and making sure it was put under not strain to turn 90 degrees in each direction for steering, all good. Worked for a few hours. Then I took a few days break from my project and coming back to it today, with fresh batteries too (I checked) ... nothing ... broken again! Which means it broke sat on a shelf, unplugged! Maybe I've just been unlucky but currently I feel like these servos are cheap garbage. I'll avoid these from now on.

Actually works well with original Lego controllers.
Works with lego controllers. Quality is acceptable -about 10% lighter than lego original but still ok for light duty.

3 positions only, one side more than 90 degrees
This is an initial review after doing a quick test. I will update my review once I’ve had chance to use it properly. As others have said, this only does 3 positions (centre, -90 and +90 degrees). This is fine for me, I only need to use it for steering. However, if you need more positions than this then you’re out of luck I’m afraid. Also, I’ve noticed that one of the positions is greater than 90 degrees (i.e. it travels further than it should), but only on one of the sides. I’ll have to check this when I use it for steering to see if it causes a problem or not and I’ll update my review once I have done.

Not a servo. Only 3 positions (left, right, centre) instead of the standard and the advertised 15 positions.

Highly recommended, works like a charm.
I bought this for my 7 years old son who is addicted to Lego Technic. He loved it right away and is now making his own remote controlled Lego cars.

It will not work if you don't have lego ir remote control set
Working perfectly but need a lego remote control system to install it to the lego projects . It is fantasticly working
