I love the Philips Hue Ecosystem and have many Hue devices. For starters Amazon in their wisdom chose to fulfil this from UK and so it did not come with an AU plug. I was able to try it out using adapter from another Hue product. It did not appear nearly as well made as other Hue products. It was no-where near as bright (could barely use it as a reading lamp). The globe and cable are both to the rear (it is meant to reflect off a wall for light) which seriously impacted the light intensity from the unit and it does not appear to come with a light switch. It has a small touch panel that 'clicked' when you touched it but it appears this is a manufacturing error / not screwed together properly and not a switch (according to customer service anyway). Of all the Hue products made - you would think putting a switch or touch-plate on a bedside lamp would be handy. How could they have missed this???

Lampe led de grande qualité. Son style minimaliste s'invite facilement dans tous les intérieurs. Elle est commandée par une application intuitive et très ludique, ou même un interrupteur sans fil (en option). Les lampes Philips Hue modifient totalement un intérieur en le rendant déco. C’est super agréable et tellement beau. Application intuitive et facile à utiliser. Matériel haut de gamme. Je recommande vivement.
