Warm orange tint
The product description says “purple”, but it adds an ORANGE tint to unstained wood. In my case, this is what I wanted to give it an older/warmer finish to already stained project. Good quality shellac.

Smaller Chunks Help
I like the size of the pieces, but I still use a dedicated coffee grinder to make a powder out of it for it to dissolve quickly. I like the fact that you can use this same product later over the top of your original coat to repair or get an awesome shine. Great product for sure.

Excellent product.
Works extremely well.Mix 2 oz (weight) with 16 oz (fluid). Shake throughout the day & then let it sit 2-3 days so that the wax settles at the bottom of the jar. No need to filter, just don’t use the wax portion (minimal)

Hopefully this can save my project.
I am trying to refurbish a desk for my daughter. I've never worked with shellac before and while I was able to rejuvenate some of the finish with just alcohol it became apparent that I needed more. I was told the nice thing about shellac is that alcohol and new shellac will just bond and do well. I bought some Zinsser spray, (because after all, it's shellac right?), and I tried that but it was a disaster. It not only left orange peel, but when I tried to smooth it out with just alcohol, it just jellied up the surface. I was damn near done and now I screwed the whole thing up. So now I'm hoping I can fix things with this. I'll let you know...
