Great book
As a French amateur patissiere, I was keen to learn a bit more about french baking. This book is just what I wanted. The step-by-step instructions and photos are really helpful and confidently guide you through the recipe. I would say previous experience of baking or a prior knowledge of French patisseries would help. I am looking forward to baking all the classic patisseries and viennoiseries I miss so much. Obviously, the book is entirely in French so prior knowledge of the language is essential...although I think the book is coming out in English later this year! All in all a great purchase!

Must-Have
This book needs to be owned by anyone interested in pastry, it will teach you the base and help you achieve some more advanced techniques with a step by step in pictures. Great book, I've seen it in English as well in Waterstone so it is around

The best patisserie book
This was recorded by a friend and I would recommend to anyone. There's good pictures step by steps and it is well explained.I'd recommend to anyone.

Good french patisserie classics, maybe not clear and precise enough for some recipes. But very good book, a must have !

Sono solo un'appassionata di pasticceria e per questo ero dubbiosa sull'acquisto di questo libro, un pochino costoso... Ma vale ogni singolo centesimo, forse anche di più! L'autore è davvero un genio, tutto è spiegato nei minimi dettagli, le ricette sono tantissime e accompagnate da tantissime fotografie, la mia salvezza! Ho già provato alcune ricette e sono riuscite benissimo, sono davvero soddisfattissima! Consiglio questo libro a tutti gli appassionati, il francese è comprensibilissimo :D

Alors, certes, le prix est plutôt élevé pour un livre de cuisine.Mais ce n'est pas n'importe lequel. C'est vraiment LA bible de la pâtisserie.C'est simple, il y a tout : les pâtes, les gâteaux classiques, les gâteaux de l'Avent, les brioches, les viennoiseries, les macarons, les décors...C'est vraiment le paradis.De plus, les recettes sont accessibles, elles ne nécessitent pas d'ingrédients exotiques introuvables en magasin. Les explications pas-à-pas avec photos permettent de bien comprendre le déroulement.Le livre est un bel objet en lui-même qui est agréable à feuilleter. Belle qualité, jolies illustrations.Les recettes sont accompagnées d'explications théoriques, par exemple sur le travail du chocolat, du sucre, des pâtes, etc.Vraiment, pour tous les passionnés de pâtisserie, c'est un ouvrage à posséder.

Muy buen libro !!
Yo lo compré en francés y me parece un libro increíble para iniciarse en el mundo de la pastelería.Todas las recetas están acompañadas de buenas explicaciones y bastantes fotografías que muestran el paso a paso de la ejecución de la receta. No cabe decir que el Chef C.Felder es uno de los mejores pasteleros de Francia. La realización de las masas, pasteles clásicos, decoración, mignardises, etc., es muy entendible para el público en general. Lo recomiendo sin duda alguna y por algo se le llama "la Biblia de la Pasteleria"...
