I like these for the grip & they don't rust. I amusing them with metal seals. I plan to try them with the plastic seals too.

These arrived packaged very well and work beautifully. They are easy to tighten and remove, and the quality feels great. I would definitely recommend these to anyone for canning or fermenting needs.

I have tried other plastic one-piece jar lids and they only achieved leak-proofing with some success on perfect, new Ball mason jars. These Tough Bands on the other hand are keeping all my older mason jars, including old blue ones, leak-proof with great success!

Wonderful alternative to the metal ring! I got these to use with our mason bottle nipples and jars and they worked great; they didn't leak and fit well. The only problem we ran into was not finding a bottle nipple cover that fit this ring.

These are so nice and easy to put on and take off. The plastic, with it's multiple flat sides, makes screwing them on/off so very simple and easy.

I’ve had to throw away countless rings over the years due to rust. I still use regular metal rings for canning food the normal way, but now when I ferment food, I use these plastic rings. A game changer when used in combination with jarware drinking lids. At first I thought, 'darn, the lids don't snap into the rings like they do with metal rings, the hole is too big'. When snapped into metal rings the fit was distorted. Now the lids will last longer too because their seals don't get damaged. The drink lid fits perfectly on the jars. Screwing down these rings makes for a perfect fit with no more leaks! Worth every penny.

I got these bands for home-fermenting veggies. Most of my ferments involve brine and fermenting right in the jar, and I got tired of rusty rings. I don't tighten down very hard due to using a silicone vent and expect them to last a very long time vs the metal rings. Larger lugs, easy to grip, and no rust. They do the job perfectly!

Great sturdy lid sides that fit regular mason jars. I use with 'pickle pipes' for salt pickling or a round piece of plastic embroidery mesh for sprouting beans/seeds (as metal mesh lids always seem to rust).
