My daughter started off at age 9 with the keyboard. She's advanced fairly well, but although I can play, I'm not a teacher. After starting high school l, she's advancing and getting proper teaching. She's found this book great, and I can help with wee fiddly bits when she's struggling, so it's still challenging enough not to be boring.

Bought for my 9yr old son when he got a keyboard for Xmas. Seems to have picked it up and is easy for him to understand and use . . . . Just a shame about his choice of music ! Lol

These are really nice arrangements of popular songs. Many of my students want to buy this book now. Suitable for Grade 2 upwards I'd say. Good sightreading for Grade 5 onwards especially for rhythms.

I bought this for my nephew (10) who’s been learning the basics on piano but after trying to play the tunes myself I decided it would be too difficult for him at this stage and I’ll save it for when he’s more advanced

Notes are easy for an 8 year old

Although this has quite a good variety of songs it really is too advanced for a beginner.
