I was looking for a casual gym bag to bring to work. Something I could easily take on the train and carry along with the backpack I already use for commuting. This bag fit my requirements perfectly.It rests really comfortably on my shoulder at the right height to tuck under my arm (I'm 5'3") and if I need to I can hold it at my sides without it touching the floor (although, it is close at my height).It's a snug fit for a pair of sneakers, a camp towel, workout clothes, basic toiletries, and a 1L smart water bottle, but it FITS.My only concern is how long it might last? I don't imagine putting it through any crazy stress so I'm hoping it will last a while. It feels sturdy but lightweight though I probably wouldn't toss it around a bunch.I wish it maybe had an extra pocket or compartment separation on the inside but there is at least one big zip pouch inside and a open pocket that is as deep as the bag on the outside.It's honestly exactly what I wanted and I love being able to cinch it in. Other reviews mentioned the cinching was a bit delicate so I take that into account when I use it.

I had the perfect tote from Lulu Lemon and it unfortunately was stolen. That brand since discontinued the bag so I was unable to replace and on the hunt for a similar item. Found this amazing dupe that actually had more features for half the price! It saved the day for my overseas trip - used it as a carryon for the plane as well as on the trade show floor - it is lightweight, fits a ton, and has convenient pockets and pull strings to cinch! Hoping they come out with a dark chocolate brown version! Will be buying again!
