This is a great laptop stand, it's adjustable in so many ways. I can sit in the recliner and set it on my bare legs and it's very sturdy and comfortable. I wish I would have known about it a long time ago. No more sore neck. It takes a little effort to adjust it but once you have where you want it stays put. Heavy duty and light weight. Great buy!

I've gone through a couple of cheap laptop stands before this one, and the difference is immediate. The dual-hinge design lets you set height and angle independently, so you can actually dial in a setup that keeps your neck and wrists happy instead of settling for "close enough." It doesn't wobble — even typing on the laptop itself while it's propped up, which some stands can't handle. Weight is a big plus. It's noticeably lighter than most metal stands I've tried, but doesn't feel flimsy — no flex or creak under a 15" laptop. That combination of sturdy-but-light makes it easy to move between rooms or toss in a bag, which is exactly what I needed since I don't work from one spot all day. Folding it flat takes seconds and it doesn't come apart into loose pieces, so setup and breakdown are genuinely fast rather than a multi-step chore. The finish also looks clean on a desk — doesn't scream "cheap aluminum" the way some budget stands do. If you want a stand that's actually adjustable (not just two or three fixed slots), stable at full height, and light enough to carry around, this one delivers. No complaints after regular daily use.

Really solid laptop stand, with a good range of heights and angles. The grips hold both my MacBook Pro 15" and my MacBook Air in place safely, and the design of the base means there's no risk of slipping or tipping. The base design also works very well to tuck away a keyboard if you have one, or to keep a notepad handy. The finish is nice, and doesn't look cheesy or strange with my computer (my laptop is Space Gray, but I actually like the contrast). It IS very difficult to adjust the first time you try, and took quite a lot of force. Something to be aware of if you are older or disabled. Once I got it moving, though, I was able to adjust it. The advantage is: it stays where you put it, even with a heavier laptop. The tradeoff seems worth it to me. You can type on your laptop without it shaking, as well, though I don't really recommend it. If you're using a laptop stand, get yourself a keyboard, truly! It doesn't do you much good to get your head at a better angle if you ignore your wrists/arms. But in a pinch if you need to use the trackpad or type, you can. Overall, a very good choice and excellent value for the money. It feels like it will last a long time. And the improvement in viewing angle is great, especially if you are working from home. I'm mostly using a monitor now, but I keep my laptop on this even when I am because it feels safe there!

works nice, looks nice. the material is not expensive but not that cheap. just nice. but i would like to hold my laptop higher so i can drink while working and not worry about spilling it on the keyboard

I love this thing. It’s just what I needed for travel cause I see patients on video. However, a complaint is that it doesn’t fold completely flat and cannot be disassembled so it takes up some room in your luggage. I was thinking of stuffing some things between the top plate in the bottom plate when I pack, so I’m not losing the space in my carry-on. It includes a couple of hex screws, but on the sides on one side upper and lower it’s so hard that I put something foam over it so that I could grab it real hard and I pushed with all my might. I couldn’t loosen the screw so I would love it if it would come apart so it could lay flat, but it’s just exactly what I needed. It’s very sturdy. It’s actually difficult to open because it’s so tight. There’s no locking feature so I don’t know if it’s gonna loosen up overtime. Maybe that’s what those little hex cruiser for the other complaint is that there’s no marks on the side so you can’t tell the perfect level you had it at I would like it to have perfect little red marks so I could say OK at three. 5 1/2 that’s exactly where I need to have it so you have to fool around with it and get the Zoom just right before your meeting.

I purchased this laptop stand for my 17" ASUS laptop that weighs about 3 kg, and had minor concerns that my laptop would weigh too much for this to remain stable. I had no cause for concern. This stand is incredibly sturdy and feels well made from solid aluminum as described. It is able to comfortably hold my laptop even with use of the laptop's keyboard (adding the weight of my hands) with virtually no flex, and can be put at varying heights. Even pushing down on it as a test I can say this would quite easily work for heavier laptops than mine. Although not a complaint of the product, adjusting the height can take a bit of effort due to how sturdy it is. A great product overall!
