This was perfect for where I wanted it. It’s attractive during the day and lights up nicely at night. The weather vane works and the arrow spins freely.

So cool
Very cool looking, would have given five stars except the bottom half of the moon lights did not align with the holes. Still worth having looks very nice. Took a more distant photo to show size to scale. Easy to assemble, no tools needed.

Photo somewhat misleading
The photo of this garden piece is somewhat misleading in that it doesn't glow like this in the dark. The photographed ornament must be lit by a spotlight because the actual ornament has pinpoint lights on it that show up more like lightning bugs that don't blink. In nighttime all you see are the pinpoint lights, you don't perceive the ornament itself as the photo would lead you to expect

Solar?? Only if one time counts.
Been in the brightest sunlight since it arrived, at least 10 hours/day. First night it looked fantastic. Hasn't lit up since!! Such nonsense.

Depends on how handy you are....
This assembles easily BUT....the pointer arrow sits directly on top of the N-S-E-W indicator. The place where they meet is irregular and badly sized - so when the wind changed direction the arrow couldn't move. So I (NOTE TO MANUFACTURER:) added a flat stainless steel washer between the two (and gave the washer top surface a shot of silicon lubricant for good measure) and now it works perfectly. Ya know... it would have cost the manufacturer less than one tenth of a penny to make this thing so it would actually work...If you're not handy forget it, it won't work because of the interference. And you probably don't want to give a non-functioning wind vane as a gift. But if your you like to tinker, break out that jar of old washers and enjoy...
