Two compressed disks
I wish I had known this device existed before spending $4500 at my chiropractor’s office on a decompression therapy. They had these giant computer controlled machines that do the exact same thing as this affordable device. I’ve used it twice now, and fully intend on doing the 21 day challenge, and doing this therapy every day thereafter. I can’t walk or stand for more than a few minutes before my left thigh goes numb and my right thigh rides the lightening. I have to stop, look around, move out of the way and bend over at the waist for a minute or two before continuing on with shopping. I’m sure people wonder what in the world this strange man is doing. If there’s a chair to sit in for a few minutes I do that instead. If I’m home cooking, I have to sit down when this happens. I have high hopes for this device. Both times I’ve used it, letting it pull for 5 minutes, then pulling the release strap for a minute and doing this for 20 minutes, I feel so much better. I think this device will do what it’s inventor says it will. If you have compressed disks in your lumbar, I recommend trying this device. You will probably need to use both hands when using the release strap. It does take some strength to hold the release strap for a minute. But hey, you’re building arm strength! Try it, I think you’ll like it.

Item broke on first use.
While using this for the first time and following the instructions one of the I guess you could call them bungee components snapped. This item was $180 when I purchased it on amazon and for that amount of money you would think it was better manufactured. I do not recommend this product.

Great traction
I bought the fisher traction device in Jan for lower back issues. I use it almost every day and have had no recurrence of pain. I would recommend buying a knee cushion as the air filled ones are easy to develop leaks

Works for me!!!
I finally got one that didn't have defective wedges to help support my legs while decompressing my spine. I had to return the defective one and buy a new one TWICE (for some reason they didn't have the exchange option for this product) before getting one that wasn't defective. I knew this product would work if everything did its job. I would recommend getting the one that does NOT come with the inflatable wedges and just purchase those separately. The return and exchange process cost them a star on the rating.

Little more complicated to use
When a back injury needs something like this it needs to be easier to set up, as it is difficult for the user to maneuver to accommodate the device. May update this review after trying it again after PT and pain subsides some.

this really works
this thing really works. once a week I'll use it. you can place books under your butt to change the angle it's pulling and target diffent areas of your back. you'll know when you have it right.

Works Great So Far
This traction device has been super helpful in relieving some of my back pain after strenous lifting. I sometimes but admittedly don't always stretch before or after lifting heavy weights but I have been using this and it does seem to help. The only things that are questionable on durability would be the vinyl blow up wedge and then the bands don't seem like that will hold up forever. So far its working great and if you need a nice at home device for stretching this works really well and its also easy to stow away when not in use.
