No second kill !
I love this product, easy to use. We have tree rats that got into the car engine. I use a tray to leave this in the engine, rats disappeared !

Not new! Used, open, dangerous!
Trays were not sealed and pellets were loose in box. When I opened the box several pellets fell out because they were not secure, immediately endangering my dogs. This is unacceptable. This package had clearly been used by someone else and returned and not checked for safety before sending it out to me. With a product meant to KILL, safety in packaging should be number one.

Quick & Effective!
I had rats in my barn and around my chickens. I bought this because it looks like chicken food and doesn’t cause secondary poisoning. I stopped seeing rats within a couple of days. I only had to put a tray in their path.

Could Be Good
Did not work. If rats have access to other food sources, they will eat those. If access to only this, it might work.

Packaging of the product itself is awful. Pellets are everywhere.
I have not used it yet so this first review is for packaging. I will update review tomorrow to see if they ate it. I have the same issues others have. Packaging is completely in tack but the pellets are all over in the shipping box. The review asked me to rate FLAVOR? Uhhhh. Unknown. I am not planning on tasting it. What if, by some fluke, I DO have the digestive system of a rat?? I am not willing to test that for a review on the flavor if this rat “poison”.

What a miracle--Rats and mice gone with this human and pet-safe product. I love RatX.
I had a sudden, rapidly growing mouse and rat infestation when winter arrived this year. I reviewed many products and finally decided to order RatX Bait Stations as well as their Rat and Mouse Attractant, both available on Amazon. Here's how I used the materials to create this miracle: I placed 1 bait station in each for 4 rooms where the heaviest traffic seemed to be. I used four of the smaller Amazon cardboard boxes and made four little bait hotels with little doors for the furry visitors to enter. Inside, I placed the opened bait station in each hotel after squirting one spray of the Attractant on both the bait station and the top of the box. Then I waited...and waited. The rustlings of the mice and foraging and climbing of the rats seemed to pick up for about 3 days, then the house got quieter each day until silence has reigned today. Finally, I used my long-handled grabber to lift each cardboard box and examine the bait station. Wonder of wonders, only crumbs were left. If you read the manufacturer's story about this humane chemical mix, you learn that rats and mice have unique digestive systems for which the RatX people have formulated this special non-poisonous food that causes them to dehydrate from the inside out. You remove any water source near rats/mice because if they are able to drink, the bait will not start working properly. After eating the bait, the rats/mice start to get tired, then sleepy, and usually go back to their nests, go into a coma, and they slip away unconsciously as they die. But: they continue to dehydrate from inside out and eventually become little mummies. Hopefully, they die someplace that has some ventilation, in which case there is little odor. I noticed some odor for a couple of days, but it has been dissipating and I haven't noticed it today. I have decided to order one of 8 packs of the preloaded bait stations to replace the empty ones as well as placing some outside to prevent another infestation. What a relief!

Great for getting rid of these little that got in during the cold weather.

Great in theory, not in practice
I really didn’t want to buy these, but my house was under siege, and I couldn’t risk poisoning any other creatures that might stumble across a dead rodent. Very guilt-ridden, but necessary. That said… the rats didn’t touch them. Not even when I sprinkled cat food on top. I guess when there’s a full buffet of other snacks in the neighborhood, flavorless pellets just aren’t going to impress the discerning Rattus norvegicus. At least I can feel slightly less guilty.
