Easily handles tablet.
This was purchased to hold a Panasonic Touchpad Tablet on the side of a small CNC metal milling machine. Mounting was straight forward. Due to connections on tablet, it was mounted off center of the arm and the mount handled this offset weight with no problem. Nice mount

Sturdy enough to hold 10" tablet securely
We bought this to hold a tablet onto the side of our kitchen cabinets. My wife and I make a lot of different flavor jerky and also salsa. We got tired of having the extra clutter of the tablet with our recipes on the counter. This eliminated that. Now it folds out when needed and tucks away neatly against the side of the cabinet when not in use. One thing I did, was drill holes through the end caps and ran the charging cable through the arms so that it's permanently there and hidden (no more charging cable flopping all over or zip tied to the outside.
