This mat works well for my 10 month old... the edge on each section gives him an area to scoop up food with his hands (as he is learning to feed himself) each section is large and fits plenty of food and it passed the sweet potato test! What I mean is it didn't stain orange like most of his other things have when eating sweet potato or food with red sauce! It washes well and is easily cleaned and can also can be placed in the top rack of the dishwasher but I just wash it by hand and it air drys fairly quick. I could see where this mat might not work for some kids because it doesn't "suction" 100% to the surface...only if it is pulled straight up but most kids will lift the edge and be able to lift it right off, which is why I only gave it 4 stars. But overall I like it it is easier then cleaning the high chair tray which is bulky. It is bigger then most high chair trays by the way (see pic). But it is thick and heavy which helps keep it from sliding. Will definitely be using it when at a restaurant table just seems more convenient then a plate that can be easily knocked over. Suction, terrible. Easy to clean, heck no. Even the dishwasher struggles. Portion size is HUGE, but then again the plate itself is too which is my biggest complaint. The scale of this thing is massive. Doesn’t fit on any high chair and takes up half of my regular table PLUS doesn’t suction. Just move onto the next option!

I’m obsessed with this product. We have a 2 year old that loves to get messy. It’s stressful when you’re out dining with family and your little one isn’t cooperating. This placement makes life a little easier. Our little one enjoys eating with it and finds it fun to put different courses of the meal in each compartment. We are taking this to Disney with us and it will certainly aid in fast and easy clean up. Thank you Ethan & Emma.

I had bought the blue two years ago for my now 3 yr old and now my little 12m toddler needs his own. These are super cute and do the job. Worth every penny! This time I got a bib and a spoon with the order and I didn’t even expect it. Very nice, Thank you guys!

Doesn’t fit on the high chair table. Only use it for kids big enough to sit at the table which was not clear in description.

This thing is huge compared to another one I bought before. I bought this one as a back up to take to restaurants and stuff in our diaper bag, but have never used it...it would take up half the table.

Suction cups work 80% of the time. However, my one year old seems to enjoy all the different compartments.
