Great enclosure for both 2.5" and 3.5" drives.
Is a very sturdy and good design and is reliable, it also has a good throughput, i have seen about a top of 400MBps, but i think that's due to the drives I'm putting in it.its simply take the cover off, put the drive in (only goes one way), then plug the power and data cable into the wall and your computer and then click the button on the unit and it should appear in windows (or mac/linux though i have not tried) unless its not turned on at the wall or has a fault with the partitions or is a dead drive.

Simple
Easy to use, easy to install, no screws, no messing around, unclick, insert HDD and close up. Plug and play, and off you go. Brilliant.

Fast read speeds and easy mounting. Perhaps too easy.
Good quality product that works. The mounting is easy and tooless but I would like if there were anyway to skrew the product into caddy.

Quite Flimsy and needs lots of tools MR35TU3
Bought this to re-use a 3 1/2 HDD that I had spare for offline backups. Was disappointed to see that it has been very poorly designed and I had to modify it extensively to make fit for purpose. See pictures for my 'fix'.The case top slides off to reveal no way of fixing the fairly hefty HDD inside. I should have read 'Tooless', seen the low price and smelled a rat. The reviews here are for several models which are all quite different, not very helpful. This model (MR33TU3) is for the 3 1/2 HDD without any fittings or fixings. There are no holes to allow you to screw the HDD in the case. The top slides off easily and is the only thing keeping the HDD in!So out came the drill and 20 minutes later I had removed the back plate, drilled two holes for screws to locate into the base of the HDD in the inside back plate and replaced the back plate cover.I will not be buying from this company again, I also have a Startech HDD caddy and that is very sturdy, so look elsewhere.

“Always” make a copy...
Back-up with duplicating software using an old 500mB drive from a defunct pc. Perfect at the price.
