Headrest Attachment Compatible with Herman Miller Aeron Fully Adjustable Height & Tilt, Removable Coat Hanger Available Color for Classic.

I am 186cm tall ,80kg, and have Aeron size B. CHAIR: Aeron is a workhorse chair which does not forgive tiredness. I have learned the hard way for the last 5years. The moment I started to feel tired I had to leave my PC/chair and went to lay onto my bed. You either start to slouch forward or lean back and hold your head upright or start to lean to the elbow rests which is also not good in the long run I tell you. Basically you can not relax in it at all. I cut my screen time a lot, because I had to leave due to the fatigue. Many times I almost "broke" my neck as my head just fell back. If you want or use this Aeron at home a headrest is a absolute must. Now I can comfortably lean back and listen to podcast, watch videos , or take a short nap. Before it was impossible and very frustrating. HEADREST: The headrest is well made. Feels sturdy. The mesh looks exactly the same. The material matches the chair. Even if it would not look the same , I tell you the difference of having or not having a head rest is much bigger difference than this minute detail. I hope the height adjustment will not wear out over time , it is a pressure lock. I have not adjusted the tilt yet due to super tight bolts on the sides. The coat hanger is a super bonus which I like a lot. There is nice wrench included for assembly and adjusting the tilt. REASONS: I held back from buying a headrest for years due to the , IMO , very high price of the competition , like Atlas et al. >200€ (with shipping+VAT+duties). I was kind of hesitant to order this one , but I bit the bullet. A couple positive reviews helped too. ORDER: I ordered the headrest from Slovakia. The package arrived from New York within 5days to SK customs. Due to the new year holidays it took another 5 days. It was delivered within 10days I believe. The box however was NOT wrapped or secured against opening it. Not sure if it was unwrapped/opened by customs. Thankfully nothing was missing. Buy it.

The chair should have came with a headrest. However this headrest attachment looks like it was original. The material match/color is spot on. Also the function and adjustments are great. The coat hanger feature is a nice add on, but would be better if it had a no-slip texture. Despite the high price it is still worth it because this headrest will save you neck pain.

I got this for my 20-year-old Aeron chair, previously upgraded with rollerblade casters, a new seat, and a taller lift. I hesitated to spend more than twice the amount on the Herman Miller OEM version, so I decided to try this one even though there were only 26 reviews. As others have mentioned, the color is not an exact match (lighter gray in my case), but I think only the most diehard Herman Miller connoisseurs would notice the difference. It was easy to install but included hex key tool was a little large for the screws. This could be due to excess paint on the head of the screws. The instructions are a little confusing, especially the first step, which tells you to look for a mounting hole on your chair (there is no hole on your chair; it is in the headrest frame itself). The headrest frame clamps on the back of the chair easily. You can adjust the tilt, but these screws are tight, and the included hex key is not great, so use caution so you don't strip the hex head. Maybe use your own hex keys. It didn't use the included stainless steel logo plate to cover the hole in the coat hanger. I think it looks fine without it, and I want to be able to remove the coat hanger in the future if needed. The coat hanger has no problem keeping my sweaters off the floor, and now you cannot see them during video conference calls. Overall, it was a great upgrade for the price. Versus the OEM version, I think you are just missing the lever allowing tilt adjustment on the fly.

This is easy to install and to adjust. It's priced in between the non-Aeron-specific headrest that is not easy to install and the pricier Aeron headrest that looks to be an even easier-to-use design. This hit the price/functionality sweet spot for me. I'd give it 5 stars except the weave of the pellicle fabric is about 20 degrees tilted and looks a bit sloppy. But I don't normally look at my headrest and it's for personal use, not in a customer setting, so I can live with it. My neck feels much happier for having it, even after two days. I'm pretty happy with my purchase.

At first it seemed weird that the only adjustment I could make was UP or DOWN - then it made sense. Now I love it! The lowest position allows my head and back to be correctly aligned. Now after a few days, I can no longer consider having my chair without it! When I’m seated, the alignment gives me the authoritative posture. I can also rest when the chair is reclined. No sense of pressure at all anywhere. The add-on hanger is a plus too! It gets rid of the unsightly clothing (e.g. jackets, sweaters) that I tend to hang on the chair. It has been one of the coolest, ergonomic, and functional items I’ve purchased as of late. Go get yours!

This is a game changer, it makes the AERO chair so much better, the chair is great already but this headrest makes it a comfy chair. The only thing I wish this head rest is to allow option to lock in the headrest at a certain position, but then again, it also make it easy to adjust since its not locked in. The hanger in the back is a bonus, its nice.

I recently bought a used Herman Miller Aeron on Ebay for $800, and realized that it needed a headrest. This headrest slid right onto the ridge on the back of my chair, then I had to tighten one allan head screw to hold it in place. That long rod across the base of the headrest is to hand a suit jacket... on while working. Since I watch tv on my pc also, and put my feet up when viewing, I needed this headrest. It is well worth $100; on Ebay, they are $45 more. I noticed that there are numerous types of mounts for these headrests and a variety of chair back styles on the Aeron. I don't know what year mine was made. I am guessing it is from an office that was sold?

Quality and adjustments make this a must have. Personally, I've had my Aeron for over 25 years now, it's a tank and keeps on going, but the lack of neck support often had me lurching my neck forward in an unergo fashion. This neck support is a must have, something I should have purchased a lot earlier. It's definitely a game changer and turns the aeron into a more complete chair.

Easy to assemble. This version was suppose to attach to a hole in the centre of my chair but my chair doesn’t have. No problem as the clamp can tighten enough without. Didn’t want to send back and create waste so perfectly fine. And it works great. Buying a second one

Sturdy, and matches the color of me aeron. i feel like my head is supported but in a very forward position. overtime i started to adjust to it. the jacket holder IS SICK. even tho im at home it gets used alot when i'm suddenly called to go.

Without knowing this was 3rd party you'd think this came with the chair. It's nice. I like how adjustable it is and yet how firm the adjustment sticks. Like I can set it to the right angle and height on the fly, and when I put pressure on it, it doesn't move one bit by just by your head/neck alone. It's great, highly recommend!
