The main thing was the fact that I plugged in the electric receptical, connected the cord from the Dolphin to the power supply, push the "on" button, and it worked. That pretty much describes it.

Saved me $1000, my dolphin vacuum is running like a champ now.

It does a great job picking the leafs from the pool bottom. However, when it tries to get on the first bottom step, sometimes it gets stuck and it stops. It does not completely clean the step the first time, only climbs up and clean couple of feet in o e spot only, never goes across to finish the whole step. Also the pattern of walk cleaning, it appears that it does goes to the same 3 spots on the pool several time during the cycle. It’s rubbing of the liner color… bought this machine in 2022 in may. I use my app to start the vacuum everyday and it runs for 2 hours( my unit came only with a basic power supply box, no fancy schedule set ups, but has WiFi). So yesterday I want to get it started and the power would not come on. There is power to the outlet, I unplugged and plugged back the unit, the cor… nothing. I had another type of vacuum before this one for 7 years and I decided to switch brands. Big mistake, power unit does not last long, 2 years. This is an expensive investment for only 2 years. It’s still under warranty I believe, but I have to send the whole robot back. I have to find a box big enough for the whole unit, pay for shipping and possibly wait who knows how long to get it back.Overall it is a good looking vacuum, large capacity basket that I love.

Mine came with the pool install. I used it for the summer of 2023, then it failed. It trips the GIF whenever I plug it in. It's wonderful when it works...and easy to use. But apparently made poorly. The warranty is 6 months, and I bought it in January, so it last until 45 days out of warranty. The Dolphin S300 pool cleaner it's attached to works perfectly. I was upset, but Maytronics (the manufacturer) immediately replaced the power unit despite the fact that it was out of warranty. Great customer service.
