This is a great replacement item, good price, and works perfectly with a Dyson V7. If you don’t want to break the clips that snap into the Dyson during installation, I suggest using a tool to help nudge them into place.Once they’re set, it’s good as new. It seals off the dust bin well, and it releases with the empty/release lever as if it were an original part. Other than a little difficulty getting it installed, I highly recommend it!

Always check Amazon first for parts
Broke the dust bin cover plastic clamp and Not even knowing or thinking that replacing this simple part could or would dramatically improve the vacs overall suction !

Best route to go when you need that seal replaced.
Own a Dyson V15 vacuum that needed a replacement ring. Came across this item on Amazon that had good reviews, decent price, and fast shipping. The quality seems to be good with proper durability since this item does have to be snapped on to the base of the vacuum. Our Dyson is fully functional again now that there is proper sealing with the new ring. Will save this item in case we need to do another replacement in the future. Can't even tell on the Dyson that a part of it was replaced with an aftermarket item.
