Absolutely perfect!I noticed some people complained that it’s sticking out of the wall too much but I feel like it’s just perfect for when you want to have the guitars in sideways positioning without having them touching the actual wall.Easy installation and came out just perfect.

I’d like to the thank the guy who gave the “Good idea, poorly executed” review, it gave me ideas to get mine installed when I ran into some issues.StringSwing… I strongly agree with him that you might want to consider slotted tracks and a track insert the customer can slide in after mounting the rails. Also, shortening the arms by 2-3” would be good for those who mount guitars at 0-45 degrees. As is, they are sticking way out there. I guess they’re good for those who mount their guitars at 90 degrees, but for those who don’t, this would greatly reduce the leverage force being applied to the rail and mounting screws. Maybe make the arm length an option?To my fellow guitarists: This is a strong and attractive product that brings that professional look to your studio or home, and displays your instruments nicely. So buy it and here are my install suggestions; I recommend using a center punch to start your holes, drill with a 1/8” bit, then a 3/16”, and finish with a deburring tool. This technique minimized damage to the black plastic track insert and made my installation go much quicker and easier!

Very happy with this purchase. Well made...very solid. No issues with hanging my guys on this holder. Holders swivel well to show as much front of the guitars as you want as well as able to fit 4 if turned perpendicular to that wall.

Let me start by saying this rack has allowed me to reclaim 1/3 of my living room but my husband still has another 15 scattered throughout our home. He looks at this display like a child in a candy store uncertain which one to grab each night. They all had been in cases and on stands randomly throughout our home. This corner looks so good now and easily accessible without all the cases to fumble through.As for strength, I really can’t comment because behind our walls is very dark knotty pine. So effectively we didn’t need to search for any studs because the weight is being supported by 3/4 inch tongue and groove knotty pine from 1920. We lived with it for 20 years and our home was so dark. However, we have used this brand for individual hangers throughout our home and none have ever become loose.

Easily accepts 5 guitars of various sizes (Dreadnaughts, Electrics, etc.). Has to be mounted to studs to be secure (at least two studs). I don't understand some of the reviews that complained about installation. It was pretty straight forward if you have very basic carpentry skills. You do need a metal bit to drill the holes in the slat.My only complaint about this unit is that connection of the hangers to the slat itself are not a great fit (a little sloppy). They provide plastic clips (pictured at the bottom of the closeup) that are supposed to anchor the bottom of the hanger once you get it into place. The clips don't fit very well and could be easily snapped in two with too much pressure. The hangers are adjustable side to side and also can be angled to accept different size guitars. Overall, I'm very happy to have my guitars off the ground and in one place. It makes for a nice presentation and is aesthetically pleasing. 4.5 stars!
