Epicure Tinned Williams Pear Halves in Fruit Juice, Delicious as a Snack, Topping or Dessert, 411 g (Pack of 12)

These are absolutely delicious, well-textured and with intense juice which tastes and looks freshly squeezed. Epicure is a reliably good brand, but these are special even by this company's high standards. I have them on standing order. Mandarins do survive tinning pretty well, but these are better than any others I have ever tried - a reliable treat for the store cupboard.I have now taken delivery of the fruit cocktail, and once again this is undoubtedly a superior product, with better-textured fruit, a better-balanced mix and better juice with more intense taste than rival versions. Other versions can be useful store cupboard staples but the Epicure fruit cocktail is worth paying for because it just tastes so much more like fresh: rather than just being a convenience, it's a pleasure. Another one for the standing order.

They arrived with about 5 tins dented but I got a refund for those, they taste nice but no difference between them and a local store product but it’s handy if you love peaches to have a box delivered . But the pears I ordered had nothing wrong but those have not been opened

we tend to use quite a lot of these,on breakfasts with other fruit these are lovely and juicy and very happy that I can buy twelve in one go as local supermarkets tend to be very hit and miss as to whether they are stocking or they are nearly £1 a tin
