Hill's Science Diet Indoor, Adult 1-6, Easy Litter Box Cleanup, Dry Cat Food, Chicken Recipe, 7 lb Bag

Have been feeding our 3.5 y.o. ginger cat Science Diet since we got him. He loves all things chicken flavored, and while he loves his Temptations treats more than anything, we dole those out in limited quantaties, and he munches this stuff up whenever he feels a might peckish. We put this kibble in a gravity-powered dispenser bowl, and let nature do the rest. He eats when he's hungry and has stayed a good weight an in shape. We buy this item on Subscribe and Save, which is a great service once you figure out how long to separate the shipments. Our last shipment was poorly packed by Amazon at the warehouse, with a 30 lb box of cat litter sharing the same large shipping box and no padding to protect the kibble. The sharp edges of the litter box broke right through the plastic kibble bag, and we opened the shipping box to find kibble everywhere, greasing up the inside of the cardboard box and very limited packing paper.No biggie beyond spending a chunk of my day cleaning all that out. Can't return an item like that, so I contacted Amazon Customer Service and explained the issue. Chose a refund over replacement as we'd already built up stock of the kibble from not enough time between deliveries. Chose refund as Amazon gift card knowing I had plenty of items I was already shopping for on Amazon that would benefit from that over a charge back to my CC which can take up to a couple of weeks to process. GC refunds take just an hour. Thanks again for great customer service, Amazon, and maybe send a note to your warehouse not to co-ship stuff with sharp edges in same box with stuff that said edges can penetrate.

This cat food is amazing. My kittens love it.

Love Science Diet! Once you start you never go back! If you don't want your house smelling like cat litter this is the product for you. It absolutely eliminates odors. Its worth the price!

Great food. My two adult cats eat this and haven't gotten fat.

This is great cat food and my cat did really well on it for many years. I'd keep him on it if I could. It's high quality which I liked. The only con is the price. I've been priced out, meaning I can't afford it anymore despite how good it is. I ended up researching foods to find a compatible and healthy alternative and arrived at Iams. I can get the same amount for half the price. Despite loving this product for my cat, it's come down to economics. If in the future the price of this becomes attainable again, I'll switch back, but until/if that were to happen, he's been doing fine on the other food and is still happy and healthy, and I'm not stressed about the expense.

My cat’s vet recommended this food for her because she is an indoor cat and doesn’t get much exercise. She likes it and I haven’t had any problems with the food.
