Just the right size. Good inexpensive board. No smell.

warped and over sized gridthis is inexpensive, so my complaints should be tempered with that in mind.I found the information on this item lacking so I post below, so that others might know what I've measured/seen.the grid is ~25mm x ~23mmover sized for the std Japanese style which is23.7mm x 22mmthis for me is not as ascetically pleasing as the stones do not touch when played.the laser burn lines are uneven in appearance which I find distracting.the grid lines are more narrow than the std 1mm found on the standard board.one could varnish/polyurethane the board and draw in the lines using a sharpie but one could also do the same on a board from the lumber yard too.my board arrived slightly warp so that when stones are played the board rocks ever so slightly shifting the stones already on the board.I was looking for a travel board, for some this might work, for me it did not.
