Very nice and accurate thermocouple for the price- only thing of note is the thermocouple to wire adapter is chrome-plated brass so it may not tolerate acids, but works great for other items e.g. food temperature, soil temperature, etc..

It works great and can stay inserted in the meat while in the oven. Be careful and don't kink the wire. The braided wire is good quality

This probe is meant for insertion in aqueous or viscous solutions, i tested it on some boiling water and it gave me accurate readings, Happy customer!!!

I used this on my job as home inspector. First one lasted 27 days, I got a replacement from seller because was within 30 days. 2nd one lasted 32 days, then it failed also. Very poor quality.

Received the probe and this is suppose to be a very accurate thermometer. I do not have the ability to accurately calibrate the thermometer or probe but I do have three other digital thermometers. I put all in a cup of hot water to see what they all read. The three all read between 117.9 degrees F and 118.2 degrees F, the new probe with the "accurate" thermometer read only 115 degrees F. It's not a huge difference but I was expecting more accuracy. Unless this is accurate the the three others from different companies are all equally inaccurate. Hence, disappointed.
