Lead breaks when trying to sharpen, and too much messing around to return them. Not happy at all here with the whole business. You can return them the same way as other UKitems, making this not worth buying from this seller.

V poor quality pencils. I suspect these are standard Dixon pencils embellished with a fancy coat of paint & a big price premium. The wood they are made of is rough and does not sharpen smoothly. The lead is brittle, coarse and writes an uneven line. The eraser on the back is ordinary. Also they are supplied unsharpened in a poor quality box. The enclosed sharpener is plastic and not easy to sharpen pencils with.

Smooth but grippy. I don't know what they used to paint these pencils with, but it's awesome. Fingers don't slide and the paint doesn't peel. Good size. It's a bit bigger than your regular pencil, and is easy to handle. The triangle shape is rewarding in the hand and encourages long sessions of writing/doodling/sketching. It's larger size does limit your options on sharpening, but it comes with a sharpener. Smells great when you sharpen it - cedar! I even sharpen mine with a pocket knife from time to time and it doesn't break the lead, which is good. If I had one complaint, it'd be that it doesn't come in any other lead hardness. Yet.

I had one if these years ago and forgot about it till a week ago when I was going through an old pencil case. I love these pencils, they have an almost rubberized coating, and are comfortable for extended use.

These pens were purchased for my son who has arthritis. Although he is a senior in high school, he still needs a #2 pencil at times. This pencil is larger and with the triangular shape, his arthritis is not compromised. The outside of the black pencils have a coating that is non-slip which also helps. From the stock photo it was hard to tell is there were actually 6 pencils in the packaging. But there are. I needed to purchase this particular pack because other "tri" pencil sharpeners do not work with Tri-Conderoga pencils. So not only do you get 6 great pencils but you get a very nice sharpener. I have been teaching for 23 years and always have used Ticonderoga products for my students. The lead is smooth, and is also easy to erase than other similar pencils. Also, this pencil is LATEX FREE, which is a plus since it has the coating on it. Plus, the black coating makes it look cool which kids are always looking at. EXCELLENT product and HIGHLY recommend.

Great feel and great grip. These pencils are excellent for children learning to write. I buy them every year for my kindergarteners. I even find myself saving a few for me! The triangular shape helps reinforce proper pencil grip. They are also a little bigger and easier to hold than the classic yellow pencil. Finally, they sharpen up like a dream!
