Great instructional book!! Great photos and diagrams.Very easy to follow and seems almost easy. Love this book! I wish there was more info than projects. But that’s what “volume II” is for. Lol. Please write more books! Can’t wait for more!!

This book is drool worthy. The artwork is amazing. Once you get past the fact that the insects are made with thread and needle, you really want to try it yourself. To say the instructions are easy to follow is an understatement. A lot of photos accompanied by excellent directions make all the projects accessible.

What a wonderful stumpwork embroidery book for the beginner or advanced stitcher! Megan’s instructions are clear and concise coupled with beautiful photography so one may produce a lovely embroidery piece. I’m thoroughly enjoying stitching the Maple Rosy Moth and it is coming out just lovely!

This book is gorgeous, and the illustrations are wonderful. I haven't created from it yet, but I did take it to be spiral bound. Makes it lie flat to make it easier to read and learn the techniques while working on a project. My favorite insect is the bumble bee, have made two art quilts of them. I look forward to trying the stumpwork and thread painting in making the bee.

I am a huge fan of Megan’s work and was delighted to learn she had a book published. The paper quality is lovely, the photos are priceless as the are large enough to see all the details in each step. The photos are well labeled to coordinate effectively with the step-by-step directions. The colors are beautiful, techniques are clearly described. All in all a well planned and perfectly executed book that I will treasure with many projects I want to make. Thank you Megan!
