I was really surprised by the quality of the clippers and trimmer. Basically professional-grade, they don't look or feel cheap at all. Well, the plastic comb guards aren't QUITE on the same level as brand-name Wahl ones. But the actual clippers and their blades are top-notch and perform great.The most incredible thing about these is the battery life. I've had these things for over 3 months now, use them every weekend, and still haven't gone below 50% battery life on either one yet! I actually had to plug them in and charge them for the first time before writing this review, just to make sure there wouldn't be any surprise problems with the charging. Otherwise, I probably would have gone a few more months on the original charge from the factory.Personally, I like that these units charge with USB cables. However, there are two caveats that you should know about. First, this set only comes with the cables, not a charger. Sadly, that's pretty much standard for all USB stuff these days. Secondly, while it's USB on the end that plugs into the charger, the cable has a proprietary connector on the end that plugs into the clippers. So, you can't use your own normal USB cables, as you can with other clippers that use USB on both ends. However, the set does come with two cables, even though both the clipper and trimmer use the exact same plug, so you're basically getting a backup cable.The most important warning I can give is that THE PLASTIC COMB GUARDS FOR THESE CLIPPERS ARE NON-STANDARD, compared to every other pair of clippers I've ever seen before. Normally, the comb numbers represent eights of an inch (e.g. a #1 comb is 1/8 in, a #8 comb is a one full inch, etc). However, these combs are offset by two sizes. That is, if you're accustomed to using a #2 comb, then you use a #4 comb here. A standard #3 comb is actually a #5 comb with this set, etc. I wasn't paying close attention, and my first cut was WAY shorter than I was expecting! That was frustrating, but now I know.Despite being a little flimsy feeling, and having the weird size offsets, the combs that come with this set are perfectly usable as-is. However, a cool thing is that these clippers fit brand-name Wahl combs guards just fine. So, I salvaged the combs from my old worn-out Wahl clippers and are just using them instead now.Overall, there are a couple of quirks to keep in mind, but this is still an outstanding clippers and trimmer set. You get both units for around the same price that Wahl charges for clippers alone. And while the comb guards aren't quite as good as Wahl's, the actual units themselves feel like much higher quality than what Wahl sells in this range. Recommended.

Works great! The full size clippers are hefty enough to feel premium, while still light enough to maneuver. Do wish the smaller one was metal too but as a travel item it's absolutely perfect!I use the big clippers to trim my beard + the small ones are perfect for doing touch up work. Both are very powerful and feel great in the hand + using. There's many different blade guards for each included, and the big ones are labeled in both inches and mm. The big clippers also contain a plastic cover guard for storage. The box has two usb charger cables (no blocks but you have some laying around), a cape for cutting hair, and a bag for everything. I went with the black set and they're very sleek and modern.Can't yet say about sharpness in the long term but out of the box the blades are super sharp! Nice, clean cuts with no snags. Overall, highly recommend!

I had my doubts about how good these clippers were going to be. Well I was very surprised how sharp the clippers cut and if they came with a good selection of guards for both clippers. Well they came with plenty of guards for both clippers and the guards fit well and didn’t fall off the trimmer heads. The small beard trimmer cuts very well and is sharp. Great for mustache and beards and trimming around ears etc. People complaining about slippery chrome coating are way off base as they are fine unless maybe your hands are covered in oil or soap or something? Both clippers fit hands like they should. Battery life should be able to do 4 or 5 haircuts easily. Really like these clippers only thing I didn’t like is there was no box or case to keep the whole kit in ie: guards clippers oil bottles etc. Other then that these are a bargain and I recommend them to anyone who

Perfect clippers at the right price. I was looking for set of clippers that were of value to attempt to start cutting my hair. These were perfect, especially for beginners. Ton of attachments that fit perfect. It was a smooth cut and works very well. Size and weight of clippers are great.

First trim was awesome, strong. Came fully charged I gave myself a fade and trimmed my beard with the same one, and it only dropped 5% battery. I was hesitant on buying the cordless clippers because of the battery but man I regret not using it sooner. Amazon driver I guess crushed my box but the packing was good. Will buy again when I need again

I have been shaving my head and my goatee, beard back-and-forth since 1998. I have had many different contraptions over the years. I am blown away for the price that I paid the exceptional quality of these two devices. I was expecting plastic and cheap, they are the exact opposite. It even comes with oil you need to keep your blades, nice and fresh. I think I’m going to buy it again for a back up or even a gift. Extremely thrilled with my purchase if you are thinking about buying one you’re wasting your money elsewhere after getting it even paying twice as much I still would’ve been happy

Great product, works like a charm. No complaints. The only thing I would have wished is a better box to store these machines.
