Why do they hide the instruction on how to grow them the instructions are hidden between the box and the lid l hadn’t realised that so I went ahead and emptied the soil onto the mushroom box and after I had done that I realised the top you put over it was underneath and guess what the instruction was in that why don’t they at least tell you where it is.I hope I still get some mushrooms from it.I may have to wait longer than is said because I didn’t do what I should have done

As I write this the second lot of mushrooms are coming through, so it is possible to make this work. Though the instructions really only make sense when you know what they mean, which unless you've already done it before, they don't. Pictures would have helped. I ended up making the different stages far longer than suggested, which seemed to work, though I haven't had an especially prolific harvest. I looked online as to how to pick them, as the kit suggested twisting them off, but online others suggested cutting. Cutting seems to produce far greater growth the next time around. This certainly isn't a money saving product. They're probably the most expensive mushrooms I've ever had, unless they keep on going for a long time. But it is quite a pleasing thing to do, especially during a pandemic, and the mushrooms that grow are of course incredibly fresh and therefore much tastier than shop bought.
