Great water bottle, better than the Brita
I got this as a replacement for my Brita filtered water bottle. Previously, I settled on the Brita due to Lifestraw not having an insulated bottle yet. My review would be mostly comparing these two.I like the design of the bottle. Both are nearly the same size, 34oz vs. 32oz (Brita). They are basically the same weight when full of water. I would expect it to be similar to other bottles tbh. The handle design though makes it feel like it's a bit lighter than the Brita though. Since you can use way more fingers to hold it comfortably.I prefer this bottles straw design. And it stays a lot cleaner and way easier to clean them the Brita. On the Brita the straw extends more, but cleaning it was a chore. Like I resorted to basically trying to clean it with a chopstick. Although, the Brita's advantage is opening the cap to get to the straw. Brita uses a push button with a spring hinge for the cap so it's super easy to open and close. The taste is better, most likely due to the 2 stage filter vs. 1 for the Brita (carbon only). The carbon filter is a lot smaller than the Brita though. Like 1/3 the size, so you'll end up replacing that a little more frequently. As far as the effort to suck the water. It's actually easier than with the Brita. It is hard in the beginning as usual, but like after 5 or so refills, it starts getting easier. It's like near effortless tbh compared to my Brita which barely got better. It wasn't hard on the Brita either, but it definitely takes more effort than the Lifestraw. All in all, this is a great water bottle. With Lifestraw famous filtration capabilities, you have more options on water source as well. I also bought the silicone bottom for the bottle which you can see in my picture. It's like a perfect match to the bottle color.

Best water filter
I didn't know how great this water filter was until I already received it, tried it, did research on the company, and was blown away. I needed it while traveling and was uncertain of water quality. It not only did its job (filter water) but it has so many other great features; it is aesthetically pleasing, easy to use, has a good cause (check out their website), and stainless steel... what more could you ask for?

Stainless steel lifestraw
Ordered for 26 yr old grandson at his request for Christmas. He takes it to gym to drink water and really likes it.

5 stars with caveat
I originally bought a “Used, Like New” bottle hoping to save $20 but buyer beware: the person who’d returned the bottle prior to me washed the thing out, including the filters, with soap (which you aren’t supposed to do btw with filters) and put it all back together WET. God knows when that was because once I received the bottle, it stank inside of fetid water and there was mold on the filter. So I noped this back to Amazon.I bought a new one and I love it. The end.

Horrible design
Whoever designed this water bottle either never used a water bottle themselves or had very large hands and neck like a girrafe. I have smallish hands and when I tried to take the lid off I could not get a grip on it. Most water bottles have a easy to grab lid or the handle of the water bottle is attached to the lid and gives you something to grip. I finally found a rubber strap on a mini fan of mine and used that to create a grip on the bottle.I did not have the water flow issue as some people have stated. I ran both the carbon part under water for 1-2 minutes And the other filter for 1-2 minutes. I kept them both seperated as I did the water run through on both. I was able to suck up the water pretty easily but yes there is a little resistance. This will happen as you are trying to get water through 2 filters before getting to your mouth. The taste didn't change much to me.The placement of the mouthpeice being in the middle of the bottle is bad design and makes it awkward to drink from. When you get near to being empty in the bottle you can't really empty the bottle as the filter doesn't have an opening on the bottom tip nor at the very top. Ice doesn't last too long in this bottle. I am used to my Ice lasting pretty much all day with my other waterbottles but with this one the ice maybe lasts 4-6 hours.Unfortunately this bottle has been an all around dud for me. I was looking forward to it and was disapointed.

Quality but difficult to drink
Awesome water bottle! Definitely makes the water taste better. I read reviews saying it was difficult to suck water through and thought how hard can it be, I’m sure it’ll be fine. I have to say, it can be frustrating how difficult it is to get a big sip and especially when you get to the bottom of your bottle.
