This is a 20V 98Wh battery, NOT a 21.6V 119Wh advertised and shaped differently from an SV-10 battery. First I thought wrong item was sent, but when I re-ordered I received a second that was the same as the first. Neither the photos nor the description of this item matches what I received twice.

This battery fit my Dyson V8 motorhead perfectly. Install was super simple - I just removed the three retaining screws and slid the old battery out. Then I just slipped this one in and reinstalled the three screws. After I fully charged the battery, it ran like a champ.Over time, my old battery had slowly lost the ability to charge up all of the was. This got down to the point where I only had a few minutes of run time before it was spent. Now it's back to being like a new vacuum again with plenty of run time for whatever I need. I've noticed that the suction of my vacuum is way better now too!. I had forgotten how well the vacuum used to operate when it was new and now it is really operating incredibly well. I wish that I had not waited so long before replacing the battery.

After years of use, our Dyson cordless vacuum battery did not last very long, so I tried out this battery replacement and am very pleased! I have a v8 animal and replacing it was so simple- just a matter of 3 screws. I had low expectations for this off-brand replacement battery, but after charging it, I tested it out and it worked great! The charge lasted long enough for me to vacuum my downstairs which is what it could do when I first bought it with the original battery. I would highly recommend this as an alternative to purchasing the very expensive official replacement battery.

The item is listed as such:"Capacity:6000mAh / Battery Type:Lithium-ion / Voltage:21.6V / Watt:129Wh"The reason I got this was due to the 6000mAh capacity listed, and was super excited about the much needed longer runtime!Per my attached image the supplied item is only 98Wh or roughly 4500mah, not 129Wh or 6000mAh.The item installed easily enough and does work, but it is not what the seller has listed capacity wise. The appropriate wh for a 6000mAh battery is between 129Wh and 130Wh respectfully.To calculate the mAh of a battery you take the supplied or labeled Wh (watt hours) and divide by the voltage of the dyson vacuum, in this case the dyson vacuum is 21.6 Volts, so when you take 98Wh (watt hours that is listed on the bottom of the battery) and divide it by 21.6 Volts (the voltage of the vacuum)you get 4.53Ah (Ampere Hours) or 4530mAh (Milliamp Hours).I did a capacity test on this battery at 21.6 Volts per the specs and came up with a capacity of 4255mAh 1745mAh short of the advertised capacity.Overall a Genuine OEM Dyson replacement is $129, so for the price its still not bad, but if you are told you are getting a 6000mAh battery, you should get a 6000mAh Battery.
