Perfect Addition to My DIY Tooth Powder — Gentle, Effective, and Versatile
I bought this fine ground calcium carbonate (limestone powder) specifically for my DIY tooth powder. I hadn’t used it as a supplement yet, but I do plan to. Once it arrived, I added a tiny amount to my existing blend — which already made my teeth feel clean and smooth — and the difference was noticeable. The calcium carbonate added a mild, polishing abrasive that helped remove the day’s tartar buildup after a long shift at work. The powder is so fine and smooth that it doesn’t scratch or damage enamel — it feels as gentle as over-the-counter toothpaste, but without fluoride. It blends beautifully into my recipe and enhances the overall texture. My DIY recipe is simple but effective: bentonite clay, baking soda, Ceylon cinnamon, spearmint powder, peppermint powder, Himalayan pink salt powder/dust for remineralization, and now calcium carbonate. I have other ingredients I’ll add as needed to support gum and tooth health. My goal with this tooth powder is to maintain a pH that actively combats plaque and tartar buildup. That’s why I keep additional powdered ingredients on hand to adjust the formula as needed — depending on diet, stress, or oral sensitivity. I also want to mention the delivery experience. I saw many reviews reporting damaged boxes and spilled product, and I genuinely feel bad for those customers. I decided to take the risk and go ahead with my order — and I’m glad I did. My box was slightly damaged, but the contents were perfectly intact. I do think Amazon should use sturdier packaging for bulk powders like this. Still, I’m very satisfied and will definitely order from this supplier again through their Amazon store. Highly recommend for anyone making their own oral care products or looking for a pure, multi-use calcium carbonate source.

High Quality Calcium - Pet Food Friendly!
This powder is AMAZING! I cook for my two pet kitties from scratch (yes, they're very spoiled) and since they don't eat any bones, they need a calcium supplement. I did quite a bit of research trying to find the best calcium powder I could to sprinkle into their chicken and this stuff is by far the best. Not only does it literally give you the biggest bang for your buck, it's one of the safest and healthiest forms of calcium to add to your pet's diet! Calcium carbonate ground from limestone is very safe and healthy for cats (according to some research that was conducted by a gentleman with a PHD in cat nutrition). It looks like from several other comments that it should be safe for almost any animal that needs a calcium supplement. It's also very good for us humans too! If you or your pet are looking for a safe and healthy calcium supplement that is very high quality, then look no further! Buy this now, you won't regret it! My bombay cat (pictured above) appreciates how healthy and strong his bones and teeth are from this calcium ^_^ Also, I wanted to mention that I noticed some negative reviews in regards to packaging and just wanted to note that I did not encounter any of these issues with my order. My calcium powder was packaged very professionally with no cuts or tears, and even arrived the very next day. Thank you so much for selling such a wonderful product! My cats pawsitively love it!

Alkaline
Yes this worked as a pH tamer for my acidic foods and drinks. The only one problem I had is that at the very end, that chalky texture stays in your mouth and affects your tongue, or my tongue rather. It felt like having some Tums in my mouth that left a chalky residue. This definitely works. What I was worried about is I am unsure if it is safe or what amounts is safe to have daily. I use an 1/8 to 1/4 of a tsp in my 8 oz. coffee. If I have 16 oz. I do 1/4 tsp to little bit more, but under 1/2 tsp. Because I am unsure what amount to put, I try to keep it low. Compared to coffee tamer, I seem to get a better result, aside from chalky texture in my mouth at the end sips. It is definitely cheaper.

Get strong, healthy, white teeth NATURALLY!
This is a KEY ingredient in natural DIY toothpaste. I’ve made about 6 tubes of toothpaste already and still have enough left for about 4 more tubes. It’s a great value for the money. It comes in a fine powder, so mixes well with the other ingredients and is white in color (as toothpaste should be). Stop getting store toothpaste. Make your own for white, strong, lovely teeth.

Works great as a Saltwater Aquarium Flocculant. Mixes easy!
PROS: * Mixes easily. * Works great as a flocculant. It definitely removes a lot of suspended particles in the water and will help deliver extra clear water for those with such an issue. Removing the suspended particles (proteins/foods) also means that water is cleaner from a nutrient perspective. CONS: * I hate the bag container. Hard to scoop out stuff without making a mess or using a funnel, but not a deal breaker. Good value. USE: I recommend the use of this as a flocculant for saltwater aquariums. It is hard to overdose. Here are excerpt instructions from a thread on water clarity and cyanobacteria treatment in a saltwater aquarium on a popular reefing site (I don't know if I can include links in reviews): " Select a clean container, one that is resealable and able to be shaken. I use an old creatine bottle.(Yes, I am on the GAIN TRAIN) For 500ML of solution, add 10 level tablespoons of powder to roughly 425-450ML of RO/DI water. Shake the bottle up, and let it sit for two hours. After which, it will be ready to use. Now, I don’t believe that you can overdose with this product, but a good recommended dose is 5ml per 50gl of aquarium volume. Be sure to shake up the bottle prior to each use as the powder can settle. The best time to add the solution to you aquarium is after conducting maintenance such as blowing off the rocks, cleaning the glass, siphoning the sand or conducting a water change. Ideally, you should be doing all of the aforementioned maintenance items during a water change, but that discussion is for another time. "
