Coffee Nirvana
An impressive machine in every way. Looks great, built solid, amazing engineering, and loads of features. My last Jura lasted 13 years and this one might be even do better. It does take some serious time and patience to study the manual, experiment with options, and generally set up the Giga 10 to handle many types of coffee drinks, milk, and hot water. After a day of study, I am happy to say that my coffee drinks pour just right: size, temperature, milk, milk foam, and taste. The milk cleaning system is as superb as is the panoramic display, that once you learn how to use it, it provides a wealth of options and information. Take the time to learn all there is to know about the Giga 10 and you cannot be anything but impressed and glad to have this super automatic coffee system in your home. Do the maintenance when required and it should provide many, many years of service. Yes, it is mighty expensive, but if you are particular about the quality of the coffee varieties you drink at home, it just might be an investment in your happiness. Buying it, like with anything else on Amazon was easy. Delivery in my case was next day by UPS. The vendor was Everything Kitchens. It arrived on time without any sign of box abuse. By the way, even upboxing the Giga 10 is well engineered, if you take the time to look over the boxing system. Impressive. Glad to have this product in my home. And, my friends will be impressed as well.

Doesn’t Last
Do not purchase this machine. I have had two issues with it. First one it wouldn’t make coffee, had to send it back for repairs. Second issue, it stopped pulling milk. It would cost me $619 to have it fixed because it was two months past the warranty period. For such an expensive machine it was not worth the money.

Where have you been all my life?
I'm a coffee lover. I'll drink almost any coffee--even tolerated the ER sludge when I was an intern. I really got to understand good coffee on a few trips to Italy and quickly advanced to an espresso machine plus grinder plus frother at home. It was a lot of effort, for sure, but it raised my coffee appreciation by an order of magnitude. On a recent trip to Norway I found these advanced machine in the dining rooms at breakfast and had to have one. Tried another brand first (Bosch) and although it made good coffee drinks it had too many flaws so I returned it. Then I moved up to a Jura Giga 10. I've had it for two weeks and I am sure it's the best such machine available for espresso-based drinks. Look up the reviews and they will tell you the same thing. It's an extravagance, for sure, but I like it so much that I bought one for my oldest son who is also a coffee aficionado. He is leased as well.

Won't fit Yeti 20oz tumbler
If you have a Giga 6 beware. The cup the whole office use is the Yeti 20oz Rambler tumbler. It fits in the Giga 6 and not in the Giga 10 because the screen doesn't let the spout go up enough. Plus I appreciate being able to adjust the milk potion on the fly with the wheel. If you are new the Jura and you don't use a mug as tall as the Yeti Rambler, the coffee is great taste.

Great machine but I agree with comments about plastic parts, and potentially used showing up as new.
Mine had ground coffee spilled on it on the top black covers somehow... but it also looked new? Not sure if this is a refurb or if there was coffee grounds nearby when packaging it lol. Fedex also did a horrible job delivering, it was so beat up and he slammed it upside down to place it down. :( I might just return it in case I got unlucky.

The best when maintained
This machine is top notch. I feel for those who purchased and received units dead on arrival. Ours has been rock solid for over 2 years now. There are cleaning instructions not well shared that must be followed to keep the espresso ground plate clean and porous. It involves reaching underneath with a clean towel with the tray removed. Other than this, it’s a magnificent machine.

Jura Plastic parts on my $5k machine continue to break
Absolutely amazing machine coffee wise however the Jura machine (itself) quality control is very very poor. I paid just under $6,000.00 for machine with milk fridge and upon arrival BOTH tabs that hold the water tank in place on the Giga 10 were broken, no problem called Jura customer service and a new water tank was sent out right away. (Bravo) Fast forward 8 months and the water tank tab has now cracked (see picture). I again called Jura and this time sorry do not pass go I must now pay $90 to replace the tank that comes with 0 warranty. I told them you might as well send me two, with taxes and shipping I’m out $200 for two water tanks on my now $6200.00 coffee machine. Hey, at least I’ll have another tank on standby for when this new tank breaks. This is my last Jura machine.

Unit arrived broken
Picked this up right ahead of Labor Day weekend to replace a Jura Giga V that had served me for about 11 years. Unpack it, set it up, put some new, quality beans in, fill it up, turn it on and then… water all over the counter and on the floor during its inaugural milk system rinse. Try making a cap anyway and while I get milk, the milk foam splatters all over the place. Disappointed. Cleaned it out, boxed it up and sent it back. Disappointing. What happened, Jura? More than one of these reviews.
