Very handy for model builders
I build scale models and was looking for a small set to detail sand. Works great. Lots of grit variety. Fantastic!

Good set for the price, foam instead of plastic
SUMMARY: You get a lot for the low price of this set. There are plenty of paper options. The sanding block fits the hand well. However, I was surprised that the sanding block is a hard foam instead of rigid plastic. It works well, but I don't expect the block to outlast the included paper. It sands well.DETAILS: On the one hand, most sanding blocks have a little foam or felt under the pad, so the foam block isn't a bad thing. On the other hand, my experience tells me that the tip of this block will start to compress and no longer touch when the block when flat against the surface. My main use for this is to get into corners when sanding, so that's a bit of a drawback, and why I marked it down a star. I would not expect the block to outlast the stock of sandpaper that comes with it. I would consider it disposable, not a block I'll keep forever and reuse with other paper. However, at this price point, that's a reasonable expectation.The hook and loop on the block is good. The felt on the sandpaper is a bit lacking. The majority of the paper sticks to the block, so it doesn't really cause any issues during sanding. However, I tried using other hook and loop sandpaper and it stuck better to the block than what's provided. Again, it still works fine with what's provided, as I won't be doing any high intensity sanding with this. The sandpaper strips are just a little bit bigger than the sole of the block, which is perfectly fine with me (as long as they aren't cut too small, I'm happy).
